Hey I am senior maybe this year after graduting high school, i will go to full sail but my question is what software you use to edit and how you begin when you were on your first day of school
@MasterEditor100 you get final cut pro ( the entire package), CS 5.5 or newest version, vector works, iwork, microsoft word, excel... etc.. and i think that was it.
@bobsaget735 thanks dude I thought it was stupid but yea it makes sense I just want to help out a bit in film and gaming. How is the work given there like music wise and other classes wise
Hey man I want to go to do music production and I actually want to know if I can minor in gaming and movie production I know it sounds dumb and like a long shot but its just this seems like a good college and how much do u think It would be
@elspadeloko no you cant do that, your only allowed one major at a time, you will be very busy with that. and full sail has a set schedule, meaning you dont get to choose what classes you take, its all layed out for you and you will stay with the same group of people until you graduate. so you just have to pick one. but you can still be involved with film stuff if your in music business. you can go on set and ask to help and you will learn very quickly.
hey lol my name is shannon, im about to start at full sail next month for film and i just wanted to say thanks and that these videos are definitely the most useful things ive found on the internet to get me ready for full sail.. i hope i get to meet you when im down there:)
So what did your grades look like and what did you do to get in to the school? Because my grades aren't the greatest and I really want to go to this school.
Alright, I have a serious question. This school is giving me a lot of mixed feelings, or rather, the so called "Students" or "Ex-Students" are giving me mixed feelings. Many people say it's an awesome school, and others say it's a waste of time. My question is, What is the truth about this school? Apparently, whether or not the stories are true, some companies say they won't accept you if you have a full sail degree. Is this also true? I am aware that people talk shit no matter what.
@ReClusENation well i still go to full sail so i cant give you the best answer but from what i have heard all the industry cares about is your experience and Full sail pretty much just gives you that experience you need to get started. if you want to get into more of the producing side then i recommend you get your bachelors in film that way you know how to do everything still and see how it all works and then get your masters in entertainment business. (if your looking into film)
@bobsaget735 Well i'm actually going to full sail for video game design. I already know that it's DEFINITELY more about your experience rather than degree in that industry. But i'm asking on behalf of my friend. He wants to go for music production. I've heard many different comments saying in the music industry, a degree doesn't matter. But in Music Production...? I don't know.
@ReClusENation oh ok cool, i have a few friends in that program and they love it. and as for you friend the school started out as only a recording arts school, the studios that we have here are awesome so your definitely working with the top equipment. and i dont really think a degree matters to much but if you have it its a plus and your more likely to get hired.
@mickswagga76 the film program probably has the most girls but its still like 80-90 percent guys. but UCF and Rollins college are really close so finding girls isnt that hard if like to party. your first few months are really easy so there are a lot of parties but once you start getting busier they slow down.
@taggerwitswagger by far the easiest way to get money from them. all you do is write the essay and turn it in. i spent time on mine because i thought it needed to be good. a bunch of my friends out here said they did it in an hour and they got the scholarship. so make sure you do that.
@taggerwitswagger then your going to have to call the school and talk to an admissions advisor they will let you know if you qualify for it and then if you are they will give you the rest of the info.
@RARAKUMA Full sail is definitely a great school for game dev or game art i have several friends in game dev and from what i have seen they love it and the people who have graduated get jobs pretty quickly. message me with your questions about fasfa, financial aid, and apartments

Im Right Now Going To College At ITT Technical Institute And People Say Its The Worst College Of All Things.
But However I've Been Looking At 3 Other Different Colleges.
Full Sail University Is One Of Them. Because Since Im Planing To Major In Game Design And Become A Video Gamer.
Soo Pretty Much Im Lookin At Both Full Sail And U.A.T.
I Possibly May Wanna Know About FASFA, Financial Aid, And Apartments.
