how to get money trees: buy two shovels, bury one, wait till tomorrow or time travel there, dig up the shovel you buried, you should have the golden shovel. then bury 10,000 coins in the ground and you should have a money tree in a couple of days. if it doesn't work, don;t blame me, i just heard it from someone.

@CaitlynJohnston You get a golden shovel- buy 2 shovels, bury one, then in a day's time, it's a golden one. Bury some bells. it will grow a money tree, which you can shake, and it drops bells. :D

@TheSmartestKidsUKnow, the most amount of designs you can have is 32, 8 per character. I like to make 2 characters that I know I won't use and name them slave 1 and slave 2, and just use them to store designs. Then I use 2 characters for game play...

To get a money tree to grow, you must bury 30000 bells with the golden shovel. The golden shovel is the easiest thing to get of the golden items. Just bury a shovel with a shovel, and see what you get the next day...

@99trapy if you have a golden shovel and bury money, it has the potential to grow into a money tree. The more money you bury, the better chance you have (i.e. 20,000 bells will have a better chance than 20 bells), but it's extremely rare. If you don't have the golden shovel, buy a shovel from Nook, bury it, and then dig it up (I would suggest the following day)
