Now I'm not saying soccer isn't difficult, it is. That takes a lot of speed and accuracy, but it's nowhere near as physically bruising. Just straining on your joints, which hockey can take one HELL of a lot out of your back and shoulders / elbows. Soccer is just as difficult to learn and play well as hockey, but playing hockey is a much harder thing to handle on your outer body; namely the appearance of your face and shape of your body. Takes more out of you, and requires more to give. So stfu.

I used to play street hockey a lot and I've ice skated, no good at all at it. That takes a shit ton of balance to be able to ice skate as quickly and flawlessly they do. That's balance, coordination, quick thinking, speed, strength, accuracy, damn. Seriously think a bunch of fat dipshits can do it? They look so big and stupid because of the toll the sport has taken on them. None of em regret any of it. Find one soccer player who can say the sport has taken much of anything from them.

@Pandiemonium yeah, but the biggest difference is while i play both ice hockey as well as soccer. Hockey takes more out of you quickly, but you get shifts to recover. soccer is a constant jog, run, sprit for 90 minutes, averaging 7-8 miles a game. Which takes just as much endurance if not more endurance than hockey. i find both sports difficult physically because ill tell you first hand getting cleated in the ankle with a soft ground cleat hurts way worse than any check ive taken.
