It's always bothered me that people see dolphins as such peaceful and wonderful creatures. They murder porpoises for fun. They kidnap females (not always their own species- which voids it as a reproductive strategy) and gang-rape them for up to months at a time. A study on dolphin sociology was done with human-like decoys equipped with trackers have been observed dragged underwater by groups of 8-20 male dolphins, They followed the decoys where they were always repeatedly raped and torn apart.
