Hey, my aunt had a son with 15yrs. He was given up for adoption.Now fastforward 20yrs. He´s now 20, she 35. They meet again, and even though they realise they are mother and son, they fall in love. First came the twin sons, and then their daughter. All 3 kids healthy. They now want to marry, but their constitutional right is being denied. If they want to give up those beneficial preferences & operate like any other business or political action committee, then I agree--THEN they can talk about politics and push specific political policies to their members all they want.

Hey, my aunt had a son with 15yrs. He was given up for adoption.Now fastforward 20yrs. He´s now 20, she 35. They meet again, and even though they realise they are mother and son, they fall in love. First came the twin sons, and then their daughter. All 3 kids healthy. They now want to marry, but their constitutional right is being denied. They are even thinking of adopting a fourth child.this is about the constitution. gays and incest couples should marry. I also wantto marry my 5 wives:-)

It is sad that in the year 2009, the gay community still does not have the rights that they should have had years ago! It is sad that there are still people that believe that separate but equal is okay. It is sad that people believe you choose your sexual orientation, I can tell you right now I don't wake up everyday deciding that I am going to be straight, I just happen to be that way. Telling someone that chose to be gay is like telling someone they chose their own skin color.

Basic human rights should never be an issue. You say it should have been excepted years ago? I say it should never have been a question of yes or no. Like slavery or womans rights should never have been an issue. It is sad and disgusting that we have to fight for the same rights that some of our fellow man feel they deserve above us.

@Kelz06081984. Men aren't equal as far as most women and many gays are concerned when it comes to divorce law, employment law, fair representation in the media etc.
Men are routinely ridiculed and demonised by stereotype and caricature, in adverts, dramas, soaps, comedies, daytime debate shows. Also, why do these feminists and their allies not complain on behalf of male domestic violence vicitms? People mostly campaign for thier own interests but gays seem rather self-concerned to me.

And I still don´t know why polygamy is illegal!!! If a man can marry 10 womwn or a woman can marry 10men...why say no? they are happy! Allowing promiscuous gay people to marry is no more a "reward" than it is for promiscuous straight people- both of whom are responsible for the spread of STDs when engaging in unprotected sex with multiple partners. The notion that promiscuous gay men are solely or even mainly responsible for the spread of the disease is a prejudiced myth. There are plenty of sex acts that aren't my cup of tea either, and frankly, they are none of my- or your- business.
