Apocalypse Zero wins first prize in my book. I remember seeing the first episode of this fan subbed in the late 90's. It is hard core messed up crap. Even the animation is wrong, there is nothing pretty about it at all, the whole thing is a fuggly fest in a can with extra nuts. Devil man is gorry, FLCL is just wierd and Genocyber is depressing as hell, but Apocalypse Zero is just...wrong.
