dave was by far one of the best enforcers of all time the ones who talked trash from other teams just wished he was on there team.he kicked youre but when you deserved it. he did his job well,i was lucky enough to get to know him personaly as he married one of my best friends sister.he was a class act on and off the ice.he is still working for the flyers .great career

Brown meeted many guys in his days of the league, usually always he wins but where is his winning series, long serie of fights with elite guys??

Miller and Nilan and Hunter, hell yes but those three arent Probert, McSorley, Kocur, Wilson or Brashear, or Twist's McCarthys, Playfairs or Gillies level IMO.

Brown was excellent, there i sno any question about it.

@theroc5851 domi got worked over by brown before...but either way, what does that have to do with what i said again? I was merely saying that he wasn't gutless....Domi had a low center of gravity and a cement head. He also had no punching power. Very rarely did u see him to any physical damage to anyone. I don't think he has 1 KO or TKO in all of the fights he's had. If u give Tie another 5 inches and a longer reach, he woulda fought completely different just like if u shrunk probert.

Dave Brown was a one dimensional goon--had absolutely no skating or puck handling skills whatsoever--but a great fighter. Can't believe the NHL used to let him get away with tying the left sleeve of his jersey to his arm so the other player couldn't get a grip on it. The league even made Rob Ray tie his jersey down eventually.

In My opinion Dave brown was the baddest flyer to ever suit up for philly. Followed closely by Behn Wilson and Craig Berube.
