Just one question, what's the mic for if you didn't sing? Ok, later on you had a family party in the kitchen. ;) I'm considering buying a quick to mount and light system. This may be it.
Well I hope you get a commission from Bose! LOL I'm sold. You're doing "almost" the same thing I am. I also have and play keys. Yamaha stage piano driving a Yamaha XS Rack, SONAR (for MIDI track playback), VG88, Brian Moore Guitar with built in GK3, Line 6 POD for Analog Guitar, PreSonus 16.0.2, Digitech Vocalist Live, Shure Beta 87-A, MOTU MIDI Express 8x8. I have 4 Mackie Thumps (15), 2 mon, 2 front and a Mackie 1801 sub. Takes 45 minutes to set up. This looks and sounds much better. Thanks!
Hi, thanks to this ( and other vids ) i went out and bought this system + T1. I sold all my back breaking gear, and used the money to buy this. Thanks for your assistance in helping me make the leap. Having used it now for about two weeks, I´m trading in all my bass gear for 4 B1s, and will use the Bose excusively for the different bands i work in, from full blown Genesis and ProgRock cover band, to my Scottish trad band. ( bagpipes/ fiddles ) This thing has got the lot covered. Thanks.
Need help here.. How do I connect my Sony HD camcorder into the Bose Tonematch so I can mute out crowd noise from clubs I play in for better sounding YouTube videos I do solo gigs with a vocal microphone and an acoustic guitar (No soundboard) and when my Dad films I keep getting video but no sound after he plugs a cable from Mic output of camera to the Auxilliary Output of the ToneMatch? Any suggestions? Tory TT
@novanine9: One sub is enough up to about 150 person rooms, larger than that and you need two. Wehn you place them on top of each other they play loudest, if that's too much I place them on each side of the stick for slightly less output
jeg synes det super fedt det setup, har du lyst til at dele ud af posen hvilket midiprogram du bruger, jeg har tænkt mig at lave noget af det samme nemlig,og hvor du køber dine midifiler henne?
Brilliantly fast setup. under 8 min. ! Some Qs. How many people do you play in front of ? How big a room will this work with your setup ? Two subs or 1 ? the Bose mixer or not ? Any major problems with this system yet ? Who left the fridge door open ?
thanks in advance. I´m thinking of investing in this pa.
@jmorrell22: that setup with two subs easily play in large rooms up to about 250 people. I don't use the Bose mixer (yet) and I'm not that sure that I need it for balancing 4 line signals. No problems with the system, the largest problem is rooms with a ceiling height under 2.1 m... The fridge is not running, that's why the door is left open :-)
I want to do the same thing, by that I mean play live to a backing track with my guitar.
Do you find that the 2nd sub bass is imperative or could I get away with the one?
Trying to save as much money as possible.
Also...you are getting an awesome guitar sound....is that through your computer Daw and amp plugins, like Guitar Rig or are you using a traditional amp somewhere?
very different, you have to try them yourself. The OM-7 is a lot less sensitive but better sounding to my ears and very feedback resistant. The Beta is brighter and more piercing, cuts better through a mix.
Thanks for posting - good to see a real setup instead of a corporate promo video. I can also safely say this is the first guitar solo I've ever seen that incorporates closing a fridge door between licks! Nice work fella.

@novanine9: Thanks! You can start with one, I only use the second one in large rooms.
The guitar sound is Roland VG-88 v.2 directly into the mixer, look at my other videos.

Can you make a sound quality video test ........ like music playing through the speakers

Is this Mic "Audix OM 7" better than shure beta 58a? I'm gonna beatbox alot. But i sing too. Will that be better choice?

i was doubtful until you started playing...what a great sounding system!
I, really, like your guitar tone....most impressive. what are you going through?
does not look like you are using an amp...is it going through a preamp....into guitar rig, by native instruments?
oneguyincalifornia 1 year ago
The guitar goes through a Roland VG-88 version 2, it's on the floor. Check out my other videos for more VG-88 sound samples

what's with the switching of the bass modules back and forth?
that seemed to be the toughest...bending over and such...is it very heavy?
oneguyincalifornia 1 year ago
Not really, they are a breeze compared to the Subwoofer I used to have!

@EnmandsBand1 - really?
are they that light...less than 10 pounds, each?

The B1 is 25pounds (13kgs)

Thanks for uploading this great video just want to know if I use vocal mic close to the Bose L1 speakers dos it feedback?
and can you please let me know how many watts is the setup?
Thanks again
proprotools1234 1 year ago
I use an Audix OM-7, probably the most feedback resistant mic you can get.
There's very little feedback, maybe a little at high volumes.

Excellent setup, quick and smart. +10!!!

The main reason I watched this vid was to hear the OM7. Oh well. Nice guitar work but sure would have like to have heard how the mic sounded.

Good system mate, But i would suggest you use the Tonematch it would be much easier to set up and much better sound.
geralddonn0909 2 years ago
I don't agree - if the L1 sounds right as it is and I don't need anything tweaked why would the T1 make it sound better?
Setup couldn't be easier as it is now, one cable to plug in! My Mackie mixer is mounted in the rack permanently cabled up.
