nothing can pick up anything that is turned off. It's like a flash light, 20 feet away in the dark if you don't see the light you don't see the flash light. That's how radar is like. That's why you get a cb radio and the truckers will tell you where the cops are on the interstate if their radar is off.

not it wont no radar detector will they don't have it turned off its just in Rf Hold. the radar displays HLD untill the operator push's the button on the remote then it clocks there speed and goes back to hold this is also known as instant on
