  • wow he sounds sooo good his voice hasnt aged a bit

  • I totally disagree. He can't hold a note like he used to but it doesn't matter. I still love his voice enough to fly from Michigan to Florida to see him on Feb 18th at the Orange Blossom Opry.

  • CLASSY!! One of the best words to describe this!!!

  • I would take Ray Price over three Tony Bennetts.

  • @DalonCole That's kinda/sorta unfair ...maybe just a little don't ya think? Both are great performers from the "back in the day" time frame. How about just accepting both for the great stuff they gave us all to live love and enjoy. Both very classy guys!!

  • he's still got it... they don't make 'em like this anymore. very sad.

  • @SuzieQz1962 I AGREE, I'm 16 And I just love old classic country music. I just cant get enough of Ray Price, He is a Legend. I wish people could see the meaning of music that they had back then... I guess I was born in the wrong Generation My English Teacher said. And I just love to see the smiles on the old folks when I say I just adore this music It makes my day and probly thiers :) Like you said Suzie. They Dont make 'em like this any more.. Very Sad..

  • He sounds amazing!

  • Real country and pure beautiful voice--

Saw him at Knott's Berry Farm many yrs ago

    still has it..

  • The tempo seems a bit fast

  • @sallicio FOR WHO

  • I heard him sing this live, it is so moving.

  • I am soo impressed! This is Superb...as good,if not better than his original...Ray!!!! I Love You!

  • Legend

  • I grew up in East Texas back in the early 60s. Ray Price's stepmother, Zelma Price, was my teacher for 5th and 6th grade. After hearing many of her stories about her stepson made me a long time fan of his. A few years ago I finally got to meet him after a concert. It will be a memory I will treasure he rest of my life. This song is perhaps my favorite, along with Danny Boy. Thanks for the Good times, Mr. Price, wherever you are.

  • GRAND! luv Ray price!. . .simply great!

  • very touching

  • And yet another Great Song by Kris Kristofferson! Love Ray Price & even Elvis sang this Classic Country Song.

  • One of my all time favorite classic country artists & songs of all time. A True American Icon.

  • Ray Price...one of the world's grand artist!!!!! Thank you for the music!!!!!

  • I just listened to him singing it in the late 60's on another You tube page and now here. Wow is voice is almost the same. What a sad, sad, song, breaks my heart!

  • I agree JWS, that drummer should have been bounced from the orchestra after this song...this song was meant to be sung slower...and Ray did an astounding job in spite of the knucklehead.

  • @Trailbosster

Yes and I thank you for hearing what you heard. Perhaps I had a different idea of how the song should have sounded. I was a bit rough in my original words. I could have said it better and I didn't. However my sentiments

remain the same. It did seem that the song was rushed. I did not like the way the drummer seemed not to allow Ray to do his best.

  • fukin' annoying that the drummer rushed him through this with his fuking clicking,...

this is Ray Price ,..don't rush him,...

  • @jws54 considering this is Ray road band and not the Opry house band, it would be logical that the band knew what tempo the boss Ray wanted to play it at, and you're profanity laced comments on a public forum easily accessable by children is an un-welcome indication of both your knowledge and your opinion's worth on a topic like this. Please keep your language to an acceptable level, it doesn't make you look good.

  • @bmmuir fuk u 2

  • @jws54 again, if your only reply is fu2, I feel bad for anyone in your life who deals with this pathetic uneducated knuckle dragger of a troll whose obvious thrill in life is verbal tyrants and lashing at complete strangers, whose only crime was viewing a Ray Price video and being assaulted by the un-wanted and un-necessary comments from the like of you. If your thinking that the band played this one too fast, a simple comment on the subject could have expressed your point.

  • @bmmuir yes,..perhaps for a normal person,...however for a pathetic uneducated knuckle-dragging troll who lives for verbal tyrants and lashing out at complete strangers,...I thought my comments were succinct and well done,...??

  • @jws54 You're an idiot, not gimme some intellectual jargon.

  • @jws54 Watch your mouth chump. No need for that kind of language . You do an injustice to the comments of those who want to read it in a civilized manner. shame on you

  • @DaPoncher

you are correct, I apologize for my offensive words.

  • @DaPoncher I know the children of today are very stupid and I use words they have never heard before. I have destroyed many generations and have turned the whole entire Planet on it's side due to my misuse of power. I have tainted much,..there is no hope for such a one so ignorant as me,... I do appreciate your bringing my many faults to light. Perhaps the best use of me, is fertilizer,..since I am so full of shit.

  • @jws54

There is hope my friend. Try Acts 16:31. You'll find the peace your looking for. Don't over look this message.

It's the most important message you'll every recieve. Don't worry about the pass. But look to your future.

It start today. I found it, in Him alone. There's no other way. The really Good Times are Coming soon. Be ready.
