I'd agree that their PR says their aim is for the greater good- it's their actions and behaviour that reveal the disgusting underbelly that is the COS. I'd be very happy if the noble aims in, say "way to happiness" were what the COS is actually doing, but, the "church" does anything that will add to it's income and power without any morals at all- the action of pure fascism.

For those wondering what beef CoS has with psychiatry, it's simple. Hubbard used Skinners technique of "Operant Conditioning" to come up with his (in)famous training method ("Tell them to pick a point on the wall.. then have them get up, go over to it and touch it. Do it again and again."). If people pay attention to psychaitry, they quickly see this and realise what a con artist Hubbard was. Remember Hubbards "Operating Thetans" ? Operant Conditioning ? Hmmmm..

Many of the techniques use to manipulate the suckers within the cult as psychological but used in a way that is highly destructive- that is why $cientology is so frightened of psychiatry/psychology- these disciplines can see right through the "tech" for what it really is- the bridge to total slavery.

An excellent if exhausting piece of work. I'd go with pointing out the easy peasy part that makes me laugh and that's the "In a world... on the edge of time... in another Universe... there were Psychiatrists!!!" voice. Voice = Expertness, to a $cientologist at least. Oh, and wasn't that part about Man must lose his individuality, his nationality, etc... a play out of Hubbard's book not the psychs?
