I went to school and filmed Blake play and la922467 your wrong. The reason we lost to good teams is because they were GOOD TEAMS.And eventually when we went on to play Hutch he had a lot on his plate because Hutch was State Champion for 6 years in a row so yea that would be a little tough. Even thought the next year a took a loss to them again for Carroll to open their eyes and SHUT THEM OUT so say what you want...Blake Bell was great at Carroll and will be even better for the Oklahoma Sooners.

I have too agree with la922467 on this one and this isnt cuz im a Longhorns fan, he lookks good in this video but nothing impresses me on a collegiate player stand point, he has a good arm but its not amazing and he moves well in the pocket but I think that hes just to slow to pplay like this in college. I think Landry Jones is very goodas much as i Hate him , this kid is a good athelete but isnt someone to be looking foward to after Landry Jones by any means, Landry Jones is filthy
i hate to burst your bubbles but living in wichita and watching this guy, he is really overrated in my opinion. he has a decent arm but he is not as accurate as he looks. his school plays hardly anybody good and when they do play a good team bell totally sucks. so don't be to quick to buy into this kid but maybe some proper coaching and he'll turn out ok

And he's coaching a major division 1 school and has a national title to his credit. You on the other hand are sitting at home watching football on tv. Pardon me for siding with Stoops in the view that this kid is really that good.
Latest from Norman is that Stoops isn't redshirting Blake Bell or Brennan Clay. If this is true, they both must be ungodly super damn good. Can't wait to find out though, we are less than a month away before kickoff ! Boomer Sooner.

@choctawcuda2 True man, but at the RB position, there's Jermie Calhoun and Johnathan Miller already behind DeMarco Murray. These guys were highly recruited as ell and I would like to see what they can do. Not to mention Mosis Madu, who is solid, but is not on the level of these other guys. I think what will happen is that they will rotate fresh running backs in if they all prove they can play on Saturdays. This would be awesome, and would keep defenses unbalanced. Can't wait man !

Kansas loses a lot of football players to OU. But, Oklahoma lose a lot of Basketball players to KU. I think it evens out. Bell will be AWESOME at OU!!!

He's pretty fast for such a tall guy. I'm impressed, hopefully he bulks up a bit and can take a hit. OU's offensive line needs to get some better pocket protection, but this kid looks like he will do damn fine once he settles in a bit.
landry jones will be the starter next year, of that there is no doubt (barring injury). blake bell is a tremendous talent, but he's raw...99% chance he redshirts his first year on campus.
