in your vlog, you're complaining about dorm rules. i agree. it is more strict than a regular household. it always has been and if you compare this dorm to any other dorms, it's all the same. you should be GLAD that Dean isn't the dean of the dorms anymore. Rick is, and I'm sure that he'll sit and listen with open eyes and heart if the dorm students band together and come up with a solution to relaxing the rules (i.e. off campus trips to the mall or gas stations).

I have appealed that the dorms rule is lack of encourage the student thats the point. How can MSD dorm help grow the students if they dont want to listen the feedback from students? I already know all about Dean and I have received the negative feedback about Rick took over and shut down LRC where the seniors opportunity to live at? Poor the longest term student who desire to live something that they didnt have a chance. There ya got the answer.

i think you should take a step back and realize that MSD is not a problem. you should look at the bigger picture and realize that the problem lies in the state governments, local school districts and audiologists. you should be taking your complaints to THEM, not putting up a vlog and just bad mouthing MSD.

As 13th years student over there, I was former founder of Student Body Government and elected the first JrNAD President, do you think I do not know what is going on and asking me to step out and realize that MSD isnt the problem? No, youre wrong. I have been inside the system and I have witness the progress that they made. It is lack of education and empowers the students too. I always believe in empower the students and desire to see the student grow out with a big successful/esteem.

i've been a MSD student for 12 years, and I came out MUCH better than if i've gone to MSSD. MSD is tryin really hard to change from its old fashioned ways (more hearing staffs vs deaf), and they're taking strides in their steps. i'm really impressed with them.

If you have gone to MSSD then you knew there was something wrong with MSD. I was offered to transferring Indiana Deaf School or MSSD during I.E.P meeting. I turned them down only MSD I could go where I can made a difference in there and I did. There is no hearing staff vs deaf. It is the MSD Administration who is the problem.

wow tar. what are you tryin to do? make MSD look bad than it really is? MSD is a great school, but too bad there's students like you giving it a bad reputation. this bad reputation will travel to the ears of some ignorant hearing parents of a deaf child, and they'll be terrified of exposing their child to deaf culture and depriving him of quality education. shame on you tar.

I didnt make this vlog to make a bad reputation about MSD. I made that vlog to make a statement about what is the certain truth about MSD. I want to shake MSD up to be careful what they are dealing with those students. For many years, they always leave the students behind included me.

Hi Tar. MSD is trying so hard to improve the environment at school for the staff and students. We now have a deaf superintendent which one of goals was achieved. Do you want MSD stays open or closed? I want MSD to stay OPEN FOREVER and enroll more Deaf students. It will take a long time to make several major changes. Just want to add information. Thanks. :)

yeah same problems with MSD!!! Wow thanks for sharing... I noticed my Deaf son comes home from the bus on Friday. He did needed to rest and more quiet when he arrives home then the next day more talkative on Saturday or Sunday... Wow! I noticed that my Deaf son was feeling stress from oppressive. Interesting!

Positive comment- All thing you have to do is discourage people not to go to MSD and that would be huge impact on msd staff and other people because the less people go to the school the less money they earned...they will start to notice thing happen like that and willing to do anything to make their education or other thing improve for better not for worse.

Michigan looked down on your deaf school and felt sorry for it. Anyone who went to MSD or still in the MSD is the one that totally obviously labeled themselved foolishness because they didn't use their brain to withdraw from STUPID MSD...I am sorry to admit it but they are low life included people who went MSD before.
