In all fairness, Korea's music industry is absolutely terrible. Drunken tiger and Mc sniper and a few others are the only good(and very good at that) musicians in Korea, because there real and not just some product of a music company.

And these are only some of the popular names. On that note, even the "mainstream garbage" isn't half bad. Yeah, it sounds "overproduced" and whatnot, but it's really common to find self produced tracks by the same artists, and some pretty amazing ballads.
