  • great lecture, but the answers to the questions (final third or so) are absolutely fantastic in their insight and educational value. James Conlon is brilliant, and i love that he embraces his prejudices and exhibits them. people think the key to the future is eliminating prejudice but that is impossible b/c it's a natural human tendency to prejudge; i think it is more important to be able to accept others with their prejudices and co-exist without mandatory acceptance.

  • i attended april 4th performance of DIE WALKURE with placido domingo and maestro conlon gave a lecture about the opera, what a great man and what a way of saying complicated things in such a nice easy and down to earth way, and don't forget he is a famous and important Maestro! i wish there more people like him, bravo Maestro!
