@ndzoko Christians can do wrong; what I'm saying is that if they do murder, steal or anything else that causes harm to another, they are not following the teachings of Christ. Jesus tries to teach us to love our enemy; it is only because of the weakness of our flesh and minds that leads us down the wrong path of violence. while not as dramatic it is along the same lines as me calling myself a law abiding citizen; even though on occasion I have broken the speed limit.

@ndzoko that's one thing you cant understand for becoming a non believer, God owns two nature: Grace and Holiness. He is full of love, and He is holy, so we must understand that God do love us, but God do not love sin, GOd dont want His name to become unholy through wrong actions done by HIs 'believers'. So dont assume that since God is full of love, then anyone can do anything to ruin his holiness since He loves us and wont hurt us. Idiots tho, would think that way, like human, God has limits

TheLr5--Why would I want to pray and weep for you? Because I know what it means to lose everything. I the last two years because of my sin I've lost my wife of almost 40 years, my four sons and my daughter who won't even speak to me and I haven't been able to see my 20 grandchildren. Most of my brothers have forsaken me and it's been just me and God. I know what darkness, sorrow and grief is. Without God I would be dead. I understand. Pray for me.

TheLr5--I prayed and wept for you when I read your post. God brought me through a similar time of dark despair. The weight of sin was so heavy that I almost ended it. But God showed me that I was His and I had no right to take what I didn't own (my life). He also showed me that no one is beyond His love and grace. look in the yellow pages under 'churches' & pray & ask God where He wants you to go!...just don't go to the cults or to the dead denominations, (mormonism, Jehovah Witnesses, New Age churches, the Catholic church, Anglican, United, Presbeterian, etc.) Look for the places that lift up Jesus AND stand on ALL the Word of God! You can be saved right now, you don't need to be in a building (nor do you for baptism, for that matter) pour out your heart to God! Repent! He'll answer you!

Yes, we are to be baptised in obedience to His Word! Do you know any beleivers who truly love & live for Jesus? Ask them if you can visit their church...when you're there, ask the Lord if that is where He wants you...then divev into the Word of God, & ask Him to give you wisdom, discernment & power...walking with Him is NOT something we can do in the power of our own flesh! Be willing to die to self, stand for the truth, to love with His love, & to OBEY whatever He shows you to do!
