I forgot to rate this one the first time I watched which helped saved my "behind" before Ostara (although I got nervous and forgot part of it but it wasn't due to not knowing what I was supposed to do)! :-) Another favorite.
I always cast the circle around the pentagram, force of habit after so many years. Then the principle of banishing with the old sword first THEN invoking with the wand in the right hand with the left hand raised. I don't know how many people do this individually or collectively as I stay away from most crowds. Groups tend to ignore principle and screw up ceremonies for silly reasons.

Lol demeter, i almost showed that handout but couldn't find it. Yes seems the arrows are the most common way to express it though far from self explanitory. Though if they had used the big A with the arrows it woulda made more sense.

the gnostics got it off zoroaster.And we know the greeks and egyptians used it.I think the gnostics like to brag too much.When pythagoras cut the apple in half to teach his students I think its safe to say he wasnt making apple pie.Eris can back me up on this one but I think you know already.Personaly I think solomon learned a thing or two from the old queen of sheba but maybe Im just being romantic.
I'm loving the Big A! This is going to make it much easier to teach going forward!! From watching your videos for a while now I've gathered that we do many things alike. I was trained to do the Pents and then take my Blade to their middle, but not circle them. I can't wait to play :) ~Anni~

you know what happens when you use the banishing earth pent with an invoking circle? (which i guess would make it a spirit invoking pent instead)? bupkis, that's what. and now i realize why my lbrp's have fizzled lately. i reckon i now have a whole bunch of very confused spirit energy floating around wondering what the hell i was doing.

Though still not a spirit pent. Im a lil fuzzy on it since i dont use it but believe there is a spirit pent for top and a different for botom, starting on the remaining lines we didnt use, the x on the bottom.
and The Greater and Lesser Keys of Solomon. Everyones good here, took me a week to remember all of my names but the little guy let me get a few hours of continuous sleep so I'm Good! :)
