  • @stevelitchfield If you truly love what you’re doing you will never burn out., and it won’t be considered work. I just feel if one openly solicits for donations a bit more effort should go into it.

  • @oscar75206 A bit more effort? Splutter. Have you any IDEA how much work goes into producing each show and the weekly audio podcast? Have YOU ever tried to do anything on the same scale for as long? Thankfully, a couple of hundred people do support me with donations, which is why this show is still going after five years.

On a related note, I've been mulling over going weekly for some time, I'll chat about this on the audio podcast, I think....

  • I was going to make a donation then looked and saw he only puts out one or two videos a month. Phone arena, phonedog, pocketnow, mobileburn, put out videos and information daily.

  • @oscar75206 Thanks for the thought. The Phones Show is fortnightly, which is why I've been able to do it single handedly for five YEARS. Otherwise I'd end up repeating myself or burning out. There's also the hour-long weekly audio podcast, too. I'm not slacking, you know 8-)

  • @oscar75206 I should also point out that around 20 man HOURS of work go into EACH show in terms of research, phone handling, experimentation, script writing, filming, editing and uploading. And you want this done DAILY? #splutter......

  • @oscar75206 they put but if i what a phone end i what to find out if it;s worth it y wach the phone show not the phonedog, poket, mobilburn the dude from mobileburn is booooryyyng THX steve 4 your hard work end information

  • Nice review. I still don´t see another phone yet that could lead me away from my S2. Still the best phone as far as I am concerned. (Sorry Nokia...)

  • Thumbs Up steve! its good to see that the titan at least tries to do something different with its huge screen in a sea of similar speced windows phones

  • The unit is huge! Even in Steve's hands! For me SGS2 screen size is about the max, any bigger would mean having to operate with both hands. And how am I going to fit this Titan in my front pocket?

  • Hy Steve when are you doing the Lumia 800 review?

  • @iacobandreim Phones Show 156, as trailed in this show. Around 9th December.

  • Very enjoyable show as always Steve! I am a little surprised at your love of the 4.7" display - Is this to try to dissuade Kev from starting his Galaxy Note protest outside your house!? :)

  • Yey, can't wait for the Lumia 800 review

  • Much enjoyed as always Steve, thanks. Slightly irrelevant, but the train you filmed, was that the Bristol Temple Meads To London Paddington service? If so, that comes past my house about 100 minutes after going through Reading. I can even see the people sat in the carriages!

  • @kesterwww Yes, right line, though that train was heading West...

  • "try not to take it outdoors too much" - had to smile here - after all, it is a _mobile_.

  • @irgendwerjoker Which was my point. Fragile, scratchable mobiles like this need handling with kid gloves, not juggled out in the real, rough world... 8-)

  • Good review, I can't understand HTC either? One step forward and another backward? I don't know of any other device with the cellular antennae in the back cover! For good reason I suspect.

Anyway, I cannot WAIT for your next show and the new Nokia. Considering your a massive Nokia fan Steve, will be interesting to hear your thoughts as your always unbiased :)

  • you rock! your shows are best among all phone reviewers!

  • What's the battery life like on the Titan? Did I miss your comments on it? Just watched the review segment twice to see, perhaps I'm going senile..

  • @thehobnob2 I only mentioned the capacity etc in passing. Battery life is fine. Easily through one day. Not terrific, not appalling, otherwise I'd have mentioned it more!

  • Great show steve, as an android fanboy ive taken the plunge with the HTC radar and im loving it!

  • The Titan is, in my opinion the definitive windows phone device right now. Not only is it the best windows phone device, but also the best device in HTC's present lineup. Well done HTC, this is your first device ever that I'd actually consider buying! As always, great show Steve :)

  • Im looking forward to the review of the Lumia 800

  • superb review as usual. Am I right in saying HTC is losing its edge?

  • Awesome glad to see you reviewing the Titan! I wanted one but I think I'll have to settle with a Radar due to T-Mobile USA's shitty WP7 lineup. #JelousOfAt&T.
