dear....... canon is always at the top... never go for sony as it is not a dedicated company towards this field...

i was surprised ,,, i loved nikon p7000 which is about $510 and i compared with this camera of about $170 and the winner was canon....canon is awesome

this camera is available in two different series, ELPH 300 HS in american series and IXUS 220 HS in europe/asia series

@harbory93 Ich kann sie eigentlich wirklich sehr empfehlen, eine kompakte Kamera die trotzdem schöne Bild und Videomaterial liefert. Hatte nur leider schon 2 mal das Problem dass es einen Objektivfehler gab bei dem das Objektiv beim rausfahren hängen blieb, liess sich aber mit etwas rütteln wieder beheben...

My Ixus 220 produses very dark videos in dim light, it's like the auto deosn't work in low light video.
