I apreciate you for captureing this bringgs back memories even though at the time I was 2 years old and how come it says 23.00 00.00 for the time isnt it suposed to say like 2:30 am or something i live in US BTW

@YouTakeMediaPlayer No we use 24 hour clock or military time as you call it. So 23.00 is 11pm, 00.00 is midnight etc.

Wait, after TNT shuts off, When the message (CARTOON NETWORK WILL FOLLOW SHORTLY) Does that mean that the channel is loading and the people who work at Turner are launching CN?

@alexmcferren CN had a 24h feed on skydigital and cable and they ran a limited TNT service on Astra 1C which was also carried via analogue cable;at the end they would simply flick back to the 24h CN feed.

TNT & Cartoon Network in the late 90's set up two 24h feeds for cable operators, but not many UK Cable operators took them.

@Heasjan Not technically, they would show a mix of movies, old US programmes and WCW in a 4 hour slot, and then they would hand back to CN. It's not surprising that this version didn't last very long at all.

3 1/2 hour programming block from 9:30 PM to 1:00 AM (21.30 to 01.00)! TNT in my country is kinda like this TNT, but its a 24/7 channel.

@utubeguy35 Well this was in the days when TNT used to share with Cartoon Network on Analogue Satellite and Cable in the UK, but I agree 4 hours seems quite lacksture when the US version is on air 24 hours a day. The channel didn't survive long, they didn't even bother putting onto digital satellite, instead they favoured having a 24hr Cartoon Network and a 24hr TCM, which at that time in the UK it was a new channel.
