i heard that by the end of this year that dishnet work was going to end there contract with the satellite company they have now.and eventually these boxes aint going to work anymore,how true is this?
I have three units 2 x SV1000 and a brand new SV8000 caused two very expensive LNB die due to wrong voltage being sent out and they just brushed me off, saying if the screen menu comes up the unit is working.
I recommend you to buy something that has support, and good warranty on it.

The box is good but their support is bad.
