The only thing that is good in that package is the mixer DNX 050, real solid and cheap with great soundquality.

But the controller?, nah don't think so

Denon hasn't been able to come up with anything good in the 19" range since the DN 9000.

3700 and X1700 however is nice, but thats about it!

Change setup and maybe you get more deals

A CD recorder can be plugged in through the unbalanced outputs if you use the balanced 1/4 outputs. Keep in mind that you would have to turn down the record level on your recorder since this is not a line level output.

Yes, the Serato Sound card is needed to work with the DNHC4500.

Nice setup guys...only problem with the HC4500 is they put the on off switch on the underside of it..which means you can't get to it once its rack mounted...other than that its wonderful!!

Then plug it into a power conditioner with a power switch and call it a day. Problem solved!
