I got to see these guys in Huntsville Alabama about a year ago. We got to stand right along the tarmac as they taxied to the runway. Ill never forget the smell of that jet exhaust... No matter how you feel about the govt or the military or any of the conflicts its involved in, seeing these guys makes you damn proud to be an American.

Was this for Seafair? I don't really like Seafair, you're way too far away from the show. Looks like you had a better show at Boeing Field than you actualy get up at Seafair.

I love the Oregon International Airshow down in Hillsborough, you're practically right under the planes.

Very cool. Blue angels have been flying over my condo for the past couple of days (I live next to a USMC air base) doing a show with the Canadian Forces Snowbirds. I'll be checking them all out tomorrow.

These are "A" models the oldest in the fleet! They are most likely the same type since adoption into the FA-18's.

The newest ones like the

"Super Hornets"are serving on the front lines!

These planes were the best in there day but the Russian thrust vector jets today and their pilots are the best trained. Obama cut out the F22's. God help the US pilots in a dog fight. Tell Ms. Rugersix hi for me. LOL.

I used to have a VHS tape of some of the original Blue Angels pilots(who a few of have passed away,sadly),but I misplaced it somewhere during the many moves my family made over the years.I wish I still had it,oh well.

I saw them at Lackland AFB here in Texas. I had only heard of them until then but it was an amazing show. I'm a personal fan of Fat Albert, since I'm joining the Corps. I actually want to try out for the Blue Angels later on in my career.

after living here for roughly 7 years i finally went to sea fair and got to watch them do their thing today. i had a pretty good time even though most of my time was spent sitting on the grass next to the lake.
