Pain is really subjective. To me the conch was not extremely painful, maybe a 4/10. If you want some real pain get a triangle piercing, now THAT was painful for me!

I love my conch :) It hurt a lot less that my rook, it was just a slight pinch but my face kinda swelled the next day but mine is on the very bottom of the ear right above the lobe

I am thinking about getting this piercing-- I haven't had my ears pierced with needles before and am nervous thinking about this. I think I'm somewhat of a wimp when it comes to pain. How bearable was this? Is it worth it? Does the pain subside quickly?

@MRDANCINGPRIEST87 i am a little kid when it comes to pain but it is all bearable. i still have my conch pierced. It is well worth it! It only hurts at the beginning but beware if you snag it with your hairbrush or anything because that does hurt in the beginning. It was one of my fastest healing piercings. No trouble with infections or anything.

so i read your one comment about your lip done.. it really doesnt hurt! im a bitch with pain.. just so long as you keep your lip loose and not tight its fine.. ive had it done in the same spot three times [all different reasons why i had to take it out] and the third time it actually hurt because of all the scar tissue! good luck!

I got mine done in decemeber and it didn't hurt getting it pierced that much, but after you can't sleep on the side you pierced it on. mine has healed great I can move the jewelery in it around now and I feel no pain
