  • Strange!!!! Why so many Jap monkeys always swarm into videos about Korea?

Just mind their own monkey businesses like earthquakes, Tsunamis and radioactive contamination.

  • 씨름 동영상에 왠 일본얘기들이 이리많노 원숭이 새기들이 여기서도 짖어대나..

  • Gentlemen, there is no need to argue. Japanese are hated by all asians, enough said.

  • lee mangi and kang hodong are the best ssieum wrestlers?

  • Kimchi Commandos?

  • Thats not wrestling, that having sex for them

  • I wanna make it Olympic sport.

    it is good than TKD.

becuz it has 5000 years history unlike TKD.

and this one is not boring like TKD game.

  • Are there places where foreigners can learn this?

  • The smaller one is what I call a "kimchi kutie" lol.

  • Koreans have older history than China + Japan, most of oldest survived wooden structures to printed books are all in Korea not in China/Japan. Korea was birthplace for most martial arts too. Some chinjap will not accept this Coz they have been stealing culture from Korea for long time.

  • @watsupzzful What common guys

Korea is cool but most people couldnt even read or write until the introduction of hangul and the people who could used Chinese characters.

Even Taekwondo is a form of japanese karate

  • @AznTOFU LOL. Korea has had a highest literacy rate in Asia and probably Europe after invention of hangul alphabet. Karate isn't even Japanese moron. It was systemized in the 30's in Okinawa where everyone knew it was Chinese. Korean mastered who learned Okinawan and Northern style Chinese MA created TKD in the 50's. Seriously ignorant whapanese like you crack me up.

  • @melonbarmonster

karate was systemized and became legit - through the japanese and settled in the mainland. but you forgot , eventhough it originates from China , it became Okinawan. Okinawan had its own martial arts called Kobujutsu and Ti / Te - Do which is not Chinese. Its a folk martial art. Influences from China ? Perhaps and yes possible but if you are thinking it is Chinese all the way - you yourself are lying. Taekwondo is actually a formation of Shotokan and Korean Arts.

  • @MDIS Karate-do was what the Ryukkans called the martial art that was brought to around 1908 I think. My memory escapes me on exact date. It was called "Chinese Hand", 唐手. It's not 'influenced' by China. It was literally Chinese. Taekwondo is definitely influenced by Japanese MA and Korean MA's but Koreans have been kicking for long time through Taekkyeon and other Korean MA's as was recorded by historical records.

  • @melonbarmonster

Yes, TKD was founded after the Korean War. Your point being? It was still largely influenced by Karate, and after Japan's occupation of Korea they began formulating what would become TKD; the fact that it was "founded" after the Korean war doesn't prove anything.

I already know the history of Karate, your knowledge is purely Wikipedia based. And Japan does NOT claim that Japan is the origin of Karate. And in Japanese Karate means "empty hand", which they gave to Japanese

  • @melonbarmonster

forms of Karate. They still recognize Okinawa as the originator of Karate. It's the same with BJJ which was based off of Judo newaza, although they founded their own style based from Japanese Judo and Jujutsu, they definitely do NOT claim to be the originators of Jujutsu.

I don't claim to be "neo-imperialistic" at all, you're the closed minded ignorant one saying shit like "calm down there last samurai". do you realize how ignorant and stupid you sound?

    And what you've

  • @BrettNASTYY Actually "ignorant and stupid" would be an obvious whapanese like you sucking neo-imperialist, Nazi allied, war atrocity denying Japanese balls like a fucking whore and making BS claims that "TKD was created after Japan took over Korea in WWII". TKD was formalized after the Korean War for the military and Karate is CHINESE Last Samurai.

  • @BrettNASTYY ... and no it's not same as BJJ since they called it 唐手. THat would be the equivalent of Brazilians having practicing a martial art and calling it "Japanese Martial Art". And even the Japanese laugh at whapanese dimwits like you.

  • @melonbarmonster

basically been arguing this whole time is that Japan took everything from Korea and has no originality whatsoever. So i suppose you think the samurai, judo, aikido, kendo, jujutsu, etc. all came from Korea. You're probably like Choson Ninja, who thinks that the Ninja originated from Korea.

I admit, korea was responsible for the spread of Buddhism to Japan, but Japan also influenced Korea.

I don't even know why this matters, I can't argue with a stubborn, ignorant racist.

  • @BrettNASTYY Learn how to follow arguments. When did I say aikido, kendo came from Korea??? x->y, `x-/->y Figure it out and stop embarrassing yourself. LOL. Choson Ninja. LOLOLOL What are you stupid??? LOL Unlike BS examples, Japanese art, music, writing system, imperial government, philosophy, Zen Buddhism, Taiko drums came from Korea or were introduced by Korean emmissaries. Japan didn't influence shit in Korea moron. LOL. Koreans taught Japanese how to make steel, silver LOL.

  • @BrettNASTYY If you even know what Yamato was, it was a LITERAL COPY of the Korean royal court with 1/3 of ruling families in Yamato Japan being KOREANS according to JAPANESE records. Kofun tombs are KOREAN tombs and same shape as KOREAN tombs found in Korea and Northeast China. Japanese writing is bastardized Chinese. Even Japanese dog breeds are derivatives of Korean breeds. You are one dumbfuck. If you don't know know STFU but don't embarrass yourself and make shit up please. LOL.

  • @BrettNASTYY You know what Japanese called China??? CEnter of the World. You know what Koreans and CHinese called Japan? They called them land of 倭 or wa, aka wae in Korean. 倭 means midgets bastards. You know what Japanese called themselves??? They called themselves 倭, midgets because Koreans and CHinese called them that. Japanese influenced shit in Korea. Even during Hideyoshi invasions Japanese treasured anything Korean bc it was superior and copied everything as their own.

  • Comment removed

  • @BrettNASTYY Ok retard. I already taught you that x->y, `x-/->y. LOL. Stop trying to obfuscate your stupidity with BS strawman claims no one has made. Let me know when your pussy stops forcing you to bitch and whine about Choson Ninja, Kim Jongil and imaginary BS and you're man enough to come back to the topic. LOL.

  • @melonbarmonster

Korea is influenced by Japan to this day. In technology, fashion, anime, food, etc.

Japanese philosophy derived from Bushido, which did NOT come from Korea. And the japanese believed in Shintoism for hundreds or maybe even thousands of years before Korea spread Buddhism to Japan. But Japan did not get it's spirit and mentality from Korea, otherwise Korea would be more well known.

Even if Korea spread alot to Japan what's your point? Honestly i don't see what your aiming at

  • @BrettNASTYY

No, Japan is still influenced today by Korea through the Korean wave with K-POP music, fashion, technology. BTW, there's no Anime in Korea. Shintoism was not even a prehistoric religion (there's no proof of that,), it's only started in the 2nd century BCE when Korean settlers went to Japan and spread some folk religion there. Bushido is not as old as Hwarang codes of ethnic. LOL

  • @TheHaraboji

First off, Tokyo is one of the fashion centers of the world next to Paris. Japan has more advanced technology than the U.S. and Korea. The rest of the world is being influenced by Japan in those areas, including Korea. I have no idea why you would think Japan is being influenced by Korean fashion and technology..its unknown

Shinto couldn't be Korean, unless Koreans believed Japan was created by gods..

So what if Bushido isn't as old? it's far more superior than Hwarang codes.

    LOL

  • @BrettNASTYY

    1. Tokyo fashion center of world? My ass! XD

    2. Japan is not more advanced than US or Korea. Japan just showcase their consumer technology more, just like South Korea. But that doesn't mean they are advanced than USA or Korea, dumbass. hahahaha

    3. Look at J-POP and Korean wave in Japan, dumbass again. Do we have J-pop or Japanese cultural wave sweeping Korea?!? LOL

    4. Like I said, Hwarang codes are much older than Bushido, have nothing to with superiority, dumbass!

  • @BrettNASTYY As far as I know Korea was the bridge between Japan and China through which Japan received the chinese influence, but also korean culture influenced the japanese to an extent in the past. Now is Japan the one that influences Korea as you said.

  • @melonbarmonster Go to Tokyo National Museum and they show Korean peasant bowls as being best examples of Japanese pottery bc they used wooden bowls when Koreans peansants used ceramics. Koreans were eating rice, wearing silk sandals, sleeping on heated floors, studying Confucist classics when Japanese were raping, killing each other, wearing wooden clogs and eating root vegetables like the backward feudal society it was after 12th century. Influence went ONE WAY my whapanese friend. LOL.

  • @melonbarmonster

actually, TKD was created after Japan took over Korea in WWII. Korea was introduced to Shotokan karate at that time, which is why ITF TKD is so similar to Shotokan Karate. Its not like Goju Ryu or Uechi Ryu from Okinawa, TKD doesn't physically train and toughen the body like traditional Karate which is why it's so weak.

Get your facts straight, racist MF.

you're probably some jealous Korean who hates all Japanese.

  • @BrettNASTYY Calm down there last samurai with your whapanese blabberings. LOL. TKD was formed after Korean War under the order of President Park Chunghee for use in Korean military in a joint unification of various MA schools in Korea. Some of them were indigenous Korean MA's, Northern style Chinese MA's and Japanese MA's. ACtually the Japanese proponents were largely excluded from formation of TKD bc they aligned themselves apart from Choi and ended being excluded...

  • @BrettNASTYY ...excluded from the formalization of TKD. They split apart and continued their Tangsoodo which still persists in Korea. And this of course only verifies my original statement since Karate was itself Chinese and was called as Chinese Hand until racist, imperialist Japanese journalists faked the Chinese characters and changed it to empty hand. And Koreans are racist? LOL. Right. Did Korean think they were divine people destined to rule the world and murder millions too?

  • @BrettNASTYY I don't hate all Japanese. Just the neo-imperialist black van retards who's testicles you obviously like to suck so much.

  • i came here to learn about a form of wrestling i didn't know existed. instead i get a bunch of dribble about racism from some guy who is basically racist himself.

you know what i think? i think we all need to shut up more. less talk and more thinking and perfecting ourselves.

  • hey, koreans are racists too! those who don't live or haven't been to korea lately don't know this, but a lot of chinese, vietnamese, middle eastern, south americans, indian/pakistani/bangladesh live there to seek better life. and boy - they get some horrible treatment. i've seen very unpleasant things firsthand while i was there.

let's face it - yes, japanese history is ugly, as is american. but there are plenty of good japanese and americans, who were against colonialism.

  • Neither the US, Korea, France or other democratic civil nations were oppressive police states driven by a race based state religion/ideology. Nor do these nations build shrines or chapels to worship Class A war criminals. Racism is a problem everywhere but in Japan it's a chronic social disease of a unique sort.

  • The only other nation that compares to Japan in the virulent racist uderbelly of its national makeup is Germany. Nazism also turned Germany into an oppressive police state driven by racist ideology. The similarity ends with history however since Germany doesn't glorify Hitler or builds chapels in honor of dead Nazis like Japan does. In Germany it's illegal to deny Nazi war atrocities. Japanese politicians and racists deny their war atrocities all the time.

  • Let me point out AGAIN that all ll I did was to respond to disgusting comments by sniperx29x. Instead of rebutting sniperx29x's racist and dispicable comments, here you are attacking me because you're half Japanese. That's kind of tribalism and self serving defensiveness is pathetic and you are a small human being for it. You need to objectively think about what is right or wrong and speak truth instead of putting up with racist aholes like sniperx29x simply bc he's japanese.

  • One of the most original thing to come from Korea. Very good sport and needs more recognition globally

  • Its just like Sumo, and mongolian wrestling ect... Most the east asian countries have big guys doing this game. It is VERY globally known, its called Sumo.

  • Sumo is very different from ssirum. Sumo fat guys bulking up and pushing each other out and on floor. Ssirum is much more technical.

  • No... Sumo isent only fat people, and it is technical too. They have many techniques that most peopel wouldent notice unless they learned it. But Sumo has weight classes, but the fat people are most famous because its traditional lol I personally like both, and Sumo uses many techniques found in Jujitsu, some people also belive sumo was the first version of Jujitsu technqiues, because many are the same.

  • Sumo is technical but ssirum is much more technical as evidenced by the fact that even the heaviest Ssirum wrestlers are not morbidly obese as are Sumo wrestlers. Ssirum is closest to Judo in technique than sumo or jujitsu and is older than both by at least a thousand years.

  • BTW I was responding to VERY racist comments by sniperx29x. I find it incredible that you would be arguing and rebutting my comments instead of rebutting racist Japanese like sniperx29x!!!!!

  • Ssirum outdates Judo by at least a thousand years according to Japanese and Korean historical documents. And Mongolian wrestling looks nothing like Sumo nor does Ssirum.

  • Correction: Ssirum outdates sumo I meant...

  • Thats why I said, that people belive sumo was the orgins of Judo, not the other way around... They both look very much alike... This video has the same move that many people in sumo do. But... Im sure everyone in all corners of the world thought of this move LOL Pick up, slam down lol

  • In technique, judo has more in common with Ssirum than it does with Sumo. If you think picking someone up and "slam down" is all there is you're more ignorant than Ithought.

  • Yeah ok jerk... You dont know anything about me, I was joking, and the move in this video is picking someone up and slaming them on the ground... There is more technical crap you could bring into this argument, but he picked him up and put him on the ground. You think sumo is just pushing eachother, its not, you can find sumo techniques on youtube, its alot more technical then you are giving it credit for... There are moves in Sumo that are exactally the same as in Judo and Jujitsu.

  • Seeing as my comments here were a rebuttal to racist Japanese comments and I never claimed Sumo doesn't share similar techniques as jujitsu I have no idea why you're still arguing with me. Judo and Jujitsu may very well have come from sumo. That doesn't say much since sumo isn't that old. It also doesn't change the fact that Judo is much more similar to Ssirum in technique than it is to Sumo. It is similar to the point of judo techiques all having Korean names already from ssirum techniques.

  • You should have exerted all the effort you're putting into arguing with me toward arguing against the racist JAPANESE comment. The fact that you still haven't said a WORD against him and still arguing with me says a thousands words.

  • I dont even know who your talking, im not talking to him, and dont even see his comment so get over it. Im having a conversation with you, not some racist loser. Dont call me a racist because im not holding your hand crying with you... Im not taking his side, im telling you that Sumo is more technical then your giving it credit for. I dont know what he said, but I dont think im taking his side, just saying Sumo has technique, and weight classses, not just fat people running into eachother.

  • You are ignorant and suffer from a very virulent Japanese strain of moral retardation. I've yet to make one derisive comment about Sumo. You're pretending I did to make your defense of Japanese racism more palatable. It's not. I'm sorry that half of your heritage committed horrible war atrocities and still deny it and glorify it and are racists about it. Just bc you're ignorant doesn't mean Korea and Japan are on equal footing. Japan's racist disease has no Korean counterpart.

  • Ssireum was referred to with various names. One of these names was Sangbak. The Chinese characters for Sangbak(相撲) pronounced in Japanese is Sumo. What does this tell you?

  • It says what I said, this wrestling system is basically found all over Asia, and it's no coincidence...

  • Similar wrestling exists all over world in Sweden, Canary Islands, Turkey, etc., not just in Asia.

  • There's only so many ways to wrestle people, I'm sure they are similar all over the world. We all have the same bodies lol

  • Japanese retards like you are the joke considering that sumo, Japanese language and almost any shred of culture like arts, music, religion, philosophy, royal family, written language are all derivatives from Korea and China.

  • Ummm no, its from China, Korea didnt do crap... Korea copies China too... Stop pretending Korea is cooler then Japan. We both have cool stuff about our countries, half our stuff we learned from eachother, so stop fighting over it. Take away lines on a map, Korea and Japan arnt so different... If you dont stop the hate, our countries will never get along. So why not start with us...

  • Korea definitely copied China but Japan copied heavily from Korea. Even when Japanese copied China it was a copy of Korean copy of China. Zen buddhism, art, music were copies from Korea. Yamato Japan was started by copying Korean royal court, not Chinese royal court. 1/3 of Yamato Japan ruling class were Koreans according Japanese historical records. The Yayoi people who populated majority of Japan were Koreans. It's not fighting. It's just fact.

  • That doesn't mean Koreans are better than Japanese. But historical facts does mean that racist comments by Japanese like sniperx29x are ridiculous.

  • Im half Japanese and half white... I think Korea needs to shut up and stop complaining, stop blaming Japanese for every freakin problem you have, and Japan needs to step up and admit they were assholes in WWII. Our countries have been at war with eachother sense time began. But if we both dont stop being stupid and hate eachother nothing will change. And by the way, Korea has some raceist jerks too, so stop acting like Japan is the only ones...

  • "Korea" doesn't blame Japan for "every freakin problem" but I feel sorry that you feel the need to be defensive and blame Koreans. What's more telling is that my pointing out historical fact behind Japanese copy of Korean culture triggered your racist comment. That is truly sad. If you read Genji Monogatari you'll see that Japan looked to Koreans as being the source of sophistication and learning. That historical fact doesnt' justify Japanese racism.

  • If you actually study racism at an academic level you'll learn that racism always happens from a position of power. Koreans may be racist but they didn't kill millions of Japanese nor do they have a long history of oppressing, murdering and torturing Japanese. Korean also didn't try to eradicate Japanese culture and ethnicity and try to make them into second class Koreans. These are historical facts. Please go read some books and educate yourself.

  • And Japan is the only former axis country in the world where WWII racism and ideology is still prevalent in society that still denies and whitewashes its atrocities in WWII. If a German said what you said about "Koreans blaming" about Jews they would be in serious trouble. It is illegal to deny Germany's WWII atrocities against Jews. Japanese deny it all the time. Japan also worships war criminals at Yakusuni. Imagine Germans building a chapel to worship Hitler and dead Nazis.

  • ... Hitler and Nazis because they fought for Germany and German politicians and Germans went to service there every year. It's almost comical how racist and deranged Japan is. That's why UN sent a Human Rights Rappateur investigation and said "Japan suffers from deep and profound racism". US Congress, Netherlands, Australia Philippines, Malaysia have all passed similar legislation condemning Japan war atrocities. Please go get a clue.

  • This isn't about whether Korea is cooler or Japan is cooler. That's pretty immature reaction. You should be objective about historical FACTS. The FACT is that Japan copied heavily from Korea. That doesn't mean Korea didn't copy from China. It does mean that anything and everything you can think of as being "japanese culture" is Korean and Chinese in origin from language, art, music, history, forms of government, philosophy, religion, EVERYTHING.

  • So pretty much what your saying is that some loser guy that is Japanese said something mean so you argue by saying Japanese people copy Korea and Korea made everything Japan has and all that awesomeness. Im American, my dad is Japanese, and my mother is white. In all honesty, your all retarded and need to shut up. Korea and Japan are right next to eachother, no crap were gonna have alot of the same stuff, were the same people, difference is, humans made lines on a map and said we arnt.

  • You must not know anything about Japanese culture and history. LITERALLY EVERYTHING that can be considered traditionally "japanese" is a copy of something Korean or Chinese. Think about it. Hiragana is a bastardized form of Kanji. Kanji is straight Chinese. Kimono is variation of tradition Hanfu. Silk is from China. Koreans taught Zen Buddhism, Confucism, silversmithing to Japanese. Entire Japanese pottery tradition was started and maintained by Koreans abducted during Hideyoshi invasions

  • Arts, music, royal court, everything is a copy of something Korean and or Chinese. Japanese dogs are variations of KOREAN DOGS with variations in size and look. Chinchin was given as a gift by Korean king. Nothing I'm saying is even an exaggeration. It's just fact. Just because you're ignorant of it doesn't mean you can defend racist comments which have ONLY come from Japanese poster whom you have defended all this time. Do you go around defending the Holocaust too?

  • Basically I'm saying Japanese people leaving racist comments and retards who defend them because they're half Japanese and entirely ignorant about East asian history should STFU. I'm also saying Japanese who are racist to Koreans are retarded because what they're claiming is superior is actually a copy, derivative of what they're claiming is inferior. I bet you would go to Yakusuni and worship war criminals without batting an eye and leave thinking how nice shinto shrines are bc your ignorant

  • You dont know anything about me lol

I know more then Japanese people do about WWII seeing as their text book is a huge fake =P I know the history, I learned it in a class room that is tought from a 3rd person point of view.

Koreans are stupid, Japanese are stupid, your all crazy and need to get over it.You wernt born yet.Your racist as well seeing as you hate Japanese people... I dont hate any race, and didnt defend anyone, im talking about SUMO!!! Talk about Sumo, or stop talking to me.

  • I hope you find a cure for your moral retardation and that next time you're confronted with racism and immorality, you'll have the balls and the human decency to stand up for what's right instead of bitching out about and arguing with people for being offended at the racism. If you can't figure out why Japanese racism toward Korean is illogical given East Asian history, go educate yourself. You're like a German arguing with Jews and attacking them for complaining too much.

  • And Korea and Japan are not on equal footing. Japan is a racist country with a long history of attempted ethnocide of Koreans not to mention murder and torture of millions. Equivocating the conflict as if Japan and Korea are on equal moral footing is selfish racism and at best gross ignorance. You seem to suffer from all of the above.

  • So basically all you can do is call names and use name calling to make yourself sound correct... Your stupid, and this is why. You wernt born during WWII, neither was I. Stop telling me that I did things to you, its not true. All im saying is nothing will change for the BETTER, if BOTH sides try to be nice to eachother. Your more racist then me seeing as you dont even know me but im still "racist" because im Japanese... Your judging me by race, which makes you racist, shut up.

  • congratulations, now you know what white people feel like when blacks bitch about slavery.

  • Not to be rude... I'm for the lets all be friends Japan and Korea unite. But if we wanted you all dead you would all be dead... We have taken over Korea enough times and not killed you all too many times for you to say we tired to "ethnocide" you...

  • You are a typical racist and ignorant Japanese. Japanese wanted to turn Koreans into Japanese and attempted ethnocide has been thoroughly documented by University of Tokyo professors Ishida and Matsusura. You should learn more about your own history and find a cure for your moral retardation. That will go a long way in fostering any sort of "unity" between Koreans and Japanese.

  • So when racist retards like sniperx29x make racist comments you should speak up and correct him instead of taking his side.

  • @melonbarmonster Also a fun fact is that good steel is one of the things that never made it to Japan. Korea was the metallurgical center of the East until the first Mongol invasion. While the Japanese used folded iron and steel (bloomery and blistering process metallurgy), which is inherently inferior to the crucible techniques which were widespread through India, China, and Korea. But nowadays, the Japanese say that crappy folded steel is a good thing (the Vikings also made better folded steel)

  • @melonbarmonster yeah. it is different with japanese sumo.

it has history and super high skill. super high skill.

  • @melonbarmonster

a ) The Japanese does have a long and historical connection with the Koreans and Chinese. But that does not mean that they relied on Korea and China all the time. No - Korea and China brought influences , migration , culture , wars and etc.

b ) Emperor of Japan himself stated - He has Korean Royalty - Its Legit.

c ) Japanese are unique as the resemble both Koreans and Chinese and yet - are very Malayan Austronesia in other aspects. Everyone is unique in their own right

  • @melonbarmonster mostly china

  • @FIGHTFANNERD3 not really. most things even from China came via Korea in a Koreanized fashion. E.g., Zen Buddhism, Confucism, Court structure for Yamato Japan which was a literal copy of the Korean royal court, metallurgy, etc.. Sorry to burst your whapanese bubble Last Samurai.
