the ledges just look way more beautiful from the water, they are awesome to begin with but you made it even better, i went conoeing down the grand river by portland, bad choice lol, to many high rocks in the water we got stuck on a few but never tipped because we had this guy who got our ever so slick and pulled us off of it (he is like 6ft tall) and some parts he could touch the ground, but you are brave lol, i chickened out as soon as i heard the dam and made them turn around

I LOVE grand ledge! It really in my opinion is the best small town ever. Good pl;ace to grow up thats for sure.

down the river is a very beautiful place, and thinking about it brings a tear to my eye. my father and i were canoeing down the river past the dam, and we went almost all day, and we came upon a shallow intersection with another river, and right in the middle of it was a gorgeous 15 point buck, just staring at us. i have so many great memories on the river.

Ahhhh, Grand Ledge. So relaxing to kayak there, at least until you have to fight the current near the dam.
