Personally, This game is more reccemended for fighting game fans that want to pull of big combos. I played an arcade version of Streetfighter II, and personally I prefer DoA over Streetfighter. I still like SF, though.

What Separates DOA from other fighting games is the counter moves.Without Counter moves people would spam alot and without counter moves then the only luck you have is to block.And blocking takes timing,Sometimes its hard to block an opponents moves once they start there combo hits and the only choice you got during the combos is to counter hold(move).

@rodriguezgoy I agree with the animations kinda but actually its alot tougher to win with touch screen cause the touch screen constantly changes,everytime you get it the touch screen changes to holds and it'll be easy to beat a touch screen person if you just block the moves by guarding and grabbing them once there done executing the moves every time some uses a move theres about 2 seconds when there vulnerable by the attacks they used.And its hard to do combos with touch screen.

@Pandora622 In the American version they default it as English voices but you can change it to Japanese which I recommend cause Dead or alive 1,2,3,4 is defaulted as Japanese in American versions,And i know what your thinking "but i dont know Japanese" well in the previous games and this one they had English subtitles.That's just me cause I'm quite used to Japanese since i played all DOA games.

@w995db If you keep track of certain characters ages throughout each release of each game one might understand why. Kasumi's age has been unlisted in the states for a while after they tried retconing her age in I think it was DOA2 Hardcore... I believe that in the original releases of the game, in japan and MAYBE the dreamcast releases of 2 she was 16. I think the US decided to stop fucking with the canon and not list her age at all.

Why do fighting games on the 3DS insist of having all the combos on the touch screen? Where is the fun in a fighting game if you are given all of the moves? The whole point is to master them to be good at the game. On SSFIV I play pro mode rather than lite for this reason, yet playing online I can't help but think everybody is just using the touchscreen.

Ayane was always following the directives of the clan, hating Kasumi for being a traitor, and probably always slightly holding ire towards her for living a loved life, while Ayane was looked down upon. So if anything, it would be more "Ayane decided to stop holding so much hatred towards Kasumi".
