I have been an anticommunist for many years, but listening to Bob Avakian and thinking critically has made me change my mind. The evidence of exploitation in our world due to the globalized capitalist system is not a debatable theory, but a self-imposing reality. And, after studying many different possible alternatives, I have come to the conclusion that a world wide Socialist revolution is the only possibility for the human kind to escape the present pitiful situation.

Same old pictures of Avakian that were around 30 years ago. Know why you don't see any current pictures of him? It is not because he's in hiding as the RCPUSA claims because the "system" is out to get him. Its because he turned into an embarrassingly fat fucker, weighting in at almost 300 pounds. I think that if people want actually look at what the RCP thinks of Avakian and what his contributions actually are people should check out first off: bobavakian . net (all together) and the line of the RCP on leadership can be found when you google: "Some Points on the Question of Revolutionary Leadership". Which is the actual line of the RCP on Leaders in general, the relation between leaders and led, and on Avakian. I encourage people to not buy into these crude distrotions and check it out.

The site you are referring to wasn't made by Bob Avakian to "glorify himself," it's a site put together by supporters which gives people access to the idoelogical contributions that Avakian is making. In particular, the "7 Talks" on the site get deeply into this different vision of what socialism should be live, how we make rev in a country live this, how would we hold on to the people's new revolutonar power, how do we understand previous socialist experiences, etc. Check out the New Synthesis!
