I'm a female fighter pilot and a commander in the US navy. I flew F-14D Super Tomcats and now fly F/A-18F Super Hornets. None of you have any idea what it is like to be a fighter pilot! You are all pathetic u get in the cockpit with any female fighter pilot and she will kick your ass!

nice video, I have great respect for these determined young women. Most people can only dream of becoming pilots, let alone fighter pilots. somethimes i think you must be a superhuman to be able to pass all the tests before you even get close to a flying simulator in AF academy. I myself am nearly as blid as a bat, if evaluated by AF medicine tests :( Thumbs up (but with a litttle envy :)

Our airforce says its to expensive to train fighters and if they become pregnant and unavailable they r putting the force in threat and under utilization. They also say women are not able to hold their bladder on high G-turns and have difficulty.. are these true?
@KarthikSoun From what I have learned in North America (at least on Discovery channel ) women were better than men at handling G-forces. One stubby little chick on the show made it to 9 G on the simulator without passing out. A tall muscled guy only made it to 3 or so and started falling unconscious. Women tend to have a shorter heart to brain distance so they do better. Plus, they weigh less so when their weight is multiplied, it is less than the weight multiplied the same on the heavier male.

I avidly love aviation. Never flown an aircraft myself but what are u trying to imply when u say that male could only achieve 3G while the woman achieved 9G (I sense some prejudice)? Im happy if women can cut it but i dont want to see standards reduced just like they have been in other job fields. Just tired of this adulated pride that some women develop when concerned with male dominated fields. Entire point of equality is not to give either gender special treatment
