@superhornet1974 no , that actually happened an f-15 collided in mid air with another plane an A-4 I think but it took the wing off and the plane continued to fly turns out the f-15s body is actually aerodynamic enough to keep the plane in the air at certain speeds after loosing 1 wing

@superhornet1974 No no, it's not fake. It's real. He landing the aircraft with one wing, his landing speed was 100 kt more then normal. The Lockheed engineers studied this situation and proved that this is possible, because the F15 have a large structure, and this combined with high speed, the pilot got landing safely. (Y)

@texasfathead So you flew for the USAF for a few years...does this make you an expert on all things aviation? If Boeing says this is false, by all means, point us to this information. I have researched this from several different directions and all information that I have available points to this being true. The body of an F-15 can produce lift if the airspeed is high enough. If I am gullible, step up to the plate and prove it this as being false...or shut up.

Actually I've seen a documentation about this crash. During the flight I think another plane crashed with the F-15.

If this is a true video, then the man is a very lucky pilot. Imagine it had been a F-16!!!

That wasn't real footage of the F-15 flying with one wing. That incident wasn't actually reordered, only pictures once it was on the ground. Some tv show overlapped the glare and now everyone uses it.

6:50 - It looks like a home built ultralight aircraft. Dunno what the aircraft at 7:39 is although i think it exploded because of flutter, im no expert so i dunno if im right.

Pretty high speed landing above the specs ;-) The fuselage of the F15 created enough airlift to keep the plane flying but only at somewhat higher speed as you can imagine.

This Israeli F15 collided with an A4 Skyhawk during combat practice. The Skyhawk pilot jettisoned.

The one-wing F-15 really happened but this in-flight footage was made for TV to show what it would have looked like. Only the still pictures after landing are real. I think it is neat how first there are no external fuel tanks, and then there is one on the left wing, then a center tank shows up, and then nothing again.

It is not fake. On the wings channel they said due to the F-15s design the body acutally provided lift that helped keep the plane upright. Do your research before making accusations
