  • I am very impressed by The GO!Team. So innovative and energetic band.

  • @vertex So am I. I'm in my very, very late 50's and, quite honestly was becoming very disillusioned with nearly all new and young bands. The utter blandness of them all was soul destroying and then, one day by chance, about three years ago, I came across these and it was like a breath of fresh air. Literally. The Go! Team put life, energy and fun into everything they do musically....It's great to see and hear (although there's still fuck all else happening anywhere!!!).

  • Ninja from The Go! Team is on Twitter!!! @NinjaFromGoTeam

  • anybody know what the untitled song at 3:20is actually called??

  • @WyattDstevens12 Titanic Vandalism

  • @WyattDstevens12 It became 'Titanic Vandalism'

  • i love the part with the guy describing the type of music that he always wanted to do, the car horns, kids playing double dutch, charlie brown piano -- its all pretty fucking intelligent

  • Two favourite bands.... this and

    the unicorns

  • they aren't generic but have this loud energy about them i love. it's loud, fast and fun.

  • love those children dancing !

  • sooOoOOOo indie

  • chi is one of the best female drummers today

  • Great unique sound they're great!!

  • Wow! The guitar 'scratch' is so innovative!

  • Great documentry, I liked the interviews

  • I basically only listen to Black Metal, but The Go! Team are one of the few non-metal bands I just can't get enough of. They are fucking brilliant!

  • What a great appearance from Chic A Go Go's Ratso. The best interviewer ever!

  • ninja is an awsome singer wtf kinda jive u talkin kid.:)

  • really? thats the best part of seeing the Go! Team live...they are completely mind blowing.

  • yea after seeing more shows of them live i take that back, she juss sounds off at times

  • that is true.. she's a much better rapper than singer, but the live energy is wonderful.

  • <3 ninja

  • what´s the name of the song on 01:16?

  • the piano bit is is 'feelgood by numbers'

    GO!

    team

  • Thanks for the docu.

America can't be all bad, even if this band is not american. They just look and sound like the bits of America I like.

    Ninja is a born performer.

  • @simonsieverts Actually, if anything, I find they personify everything I love about England; quirkiness. ^_^

Sorry, I know you made that comment two years ago but I had to comment.

  • think ur missing the whole point

Her singing style is melancholy and would sound out of place in key.

and its all the rage now Kate nash n lily allen will make a million doing it

  • LOVE THEM!!

  • actually, correction, i thought you were talking about the main "rapper". yeah, that singer girl is terrible live...they should do away with her singing that since she can't hit a single note. but still, great live band

  • there is no way you're serious. these guys were the best act at last year's lollapalooza hands down. the energy they bring is unbelievable. Maybe the singer was having an off-night when you heard her, but she was great when I saw them.

  • Love 'em

  • what's the song at the beginning that is playing while ninja is talking and before ian starts talking?

  • the song is called "Universal Speech" it's off their new album (dont think its out till september!)

  • just saw them at benecassim, amzing!

  • i luv 'em & i'v just been at the live @SH.

  • The Go! Team are a-frikkin'-mazing.

Check out my videos for their full performance at the Glastonbury Festival 2007, in 4 parts!

  • love them

  • Brilliant band

  • Great! I LURVE The GO! Team

  • It's too bad that whenever they sing, it's really muffled and you can't hear what anyone's saying. Still love 'em though.

  • <3.

  • actually I think the sock puppet is from a Chicago public access show called Chica-go-go...I'm guessing it was conducted before or after their Lollapallooza set. Personally, Triumph would have been a much more entertaining interviewer.

  • wow, when he does the sock puppet, his accent completely disappears. i can't even talk without my lips moving, nevermind make my accent disappear...

  • They're a fantastic band.

    Ninja's my favorite, though.

  • after the first 15 seconds i hated them.. after the first 5 minutes i loved them...after 10 minutes i just kinda felt....YIPPPEEEEE.

  • this is the most amazing band on the face of the earth! I saw them at that show in chicago with the kids, Intonation, that was such a magical show! I'd never heard/heard of/seen them before and I was just instantly a fan, its soooo incredibly good. I just saw them at lollapalooza too, aaahhh!! equally good!

  • great stuff! thanks!

  • never seen this clip. fab. i luv ninja!!xx

  • i seriously love this band... and i totally agree about the whole innocent joy of childhood thing...like what i love about them is they encourage u to, what i like to say, dance like u would if u were by yourself because we all do it. when no ones around and we've got the music blasting. we all just dance around like crazy...cuz at that moment..we feel that innocence...and i think thats whats great about them. they have no label. so theres nothing stereotyical about them. awesomeness.

  • f****** genious!

  • Listen to their album "Thunder Lightning Strike" and you'll see they've got a combination like no other group right now. Their music is like the innocent joy of a child and that's what we want to achieve as adults isn't it? To be able to still feel that joy though all of our adult stresses.

  • dayam i love ninja

  • how exciting

  • Awesome, just awesome. I wish a lot more bands had mini docs like that. I knew nothing about them before except that I liked them.
