  • Even thought Diesel gas does not burn off as complete as natural gas, I can't help but love that sound the diesel engine makes. Doesn't Diesel gas powered engines tend to yield more torque?

  • thats the same engine as i have in my 82 gmc truck,, hey question i just bought it, and the power steering pump needs to be replaced, ive done it on other vehicles but not on a diesel, how do you replace it,, and no its not the hydroboost,, it has the above reservoir just like the one under your hood...

  • nice very nice!

  • i have an 80 k5 and i wouldnt get rid of it for nothing

  • @bob1862 That sir, is a double negative.

  • @bob1862 same here i got a 1984 and would not trade sell it nothing

  • The Chevrolet italic writing on the back looks cool. great truck!

  • Never?

  • Are you talking about actual natural gas or gasoline?

  • I think he means lpg which is dam cheap but with diesels its used as an extra fuel to aid combusion, cool truck, Id love a rhd one in uk.

  • Isn't Diesel more expensive than natural gas?

  • Ive never bought natural gas so i wouldn't know.

  • Im thinking about getting a K2500 6.2 diesl can you give me some insight about the truck

  • If you live in the rust belt, check the floor. I cant even drive this truck anymore because the floor is swiss cheese :'(

  • Love diesels : ) So where is the rust belt : ) hehe, PA? Cant you cut the rust out and weld on new floor boards? the body on the outside looks good, so dont think it would be that big of a deal with welding in new floor boards... As for diesel, one of my trucks i didnt start for 6 years started up no problem, got to love them diesels.

  • yeah i would say PA is in the rust belt :) . here (WI) the state throws a shitload of salt down over the winter. the county i live in has run out of salt the last 2 years. it just eats all the vehicles. this one is so bad that about 40% of the floor is gone, rusted thru. i had my mechanic look at it but he said there wasnt anything to weld new metal to and the entire floor is held together with rust. is sucks because the engine and tranny still work fine.

  • Thats a shame, maybe getting a cheap crashed up blazer with a good floor & change it over, but i would bet U could make a frame where it would be needed, i have gotten some serious rust fixed before, its not pretty but sometimes not that hard ether, some of the video i saw some of the frame, it didnt look that bad : ) maybe it was the other video, anyways i restore old mercedes that have the flinstones floors & it can be done : ) too bad your so far, would have told u to come over & will look

  • @Beowolf610

so get another blazer and stick the 6.2 and tranny in it

  • mine takes three weeks-

    to start it up!

  • i bought one that had not been started for two years. It was a bit nerve racking since i didn't know how to deal with diesel at the time.

  • Love that sound! A Beauty!

  • Cant beat the good ole 6.2

  • FIRED RIGHT UP!
