  • challenge you dork!!!

    get it right!!!! omg LOL

Ikaika Alama-Francis get the meaning right for challenge study a little a bit before you do it,

mainly haka warriors offer a peace offering first, if they don't accept the peace offering, then its a challenge!!!

  • Sugod!!!

  • Haka boost confidence level of the players. Nice strategy coach! Unite the team!!go.go.

  • Only an American would be tired after doing the haka

  • Dont get me wrong they do a good version of the Haka but why the fuck don't they do their own dance?? Im sure Hawaiians will have one.

  • all the poly boys here are sexy and samson satele plays for the raiders thats my team and even though im black samson is sexy and i want him to be my husband

  • they shouldve shown a video of the all blacks, i find that when the all blacks do the haka its 10 times more intimidating but then again the all blacks have acualy Maoris in thier team. Good effort though it can only get better over time (:

  • ahaha ma-ori people. i just love the american accent!!!

I really love how they captured the true meaning of the haka and how they performed it too. All the best x

  • Hawaii should bring back kapa o pango. That haka was solid

  • Hey remember this was when it was still in its infancy stages in terms of transitioning a polynesian tradition into football. It was probably kind of retarded looking for those who know what it was supposed to be like, but remember its a relatively new aspect of sharing cultures. We don't criticize other teams idolizing a dog or cat for their mascot. Overall its a good way to practice and share our poly culture in mainstream media. Let's try to make it better...

  • THIS IS THE BEST HAKA. w w w. youtube. com / watch?v=l5H4CTiepd8

  • just dont try the haka americans

  • from a maori i say it was cool they got the words right actions yeh i respect it, they respect the haka, just need to slow it down stop the bouncing part, overall not bad for and american teaching it mad respect cuz. keep it up bro.

  • and when i say other cultures doing it i mean like the spice girls!!! hell no ! not kool at all.

  • kia ora guys!! im maori myself and somtimes for us we can get annoyed by other cultures doing our culture but in your case me personally listening to your reasoning for it you have the best intentions and reason for doing it so for that i thank yous all very much...so from a maori girl in new zealand ka kite...

  • Alabama would boo. Damn southerners.

  • haha reppin o'hawai'i but they should seriously try some hawaiian war chants too cuz some is pretty ani

  • hahaha u fools KAMATE haka is talking about Pussy

  • woah, Leonard Peters plays for the US Eagles now

  • love it..

  • if u havnt seen the byu rugby haka u have no idea what ur missing!!

  • the all blacks do it soooooo much better.

  • I thought it was the Samoan haka?

  • Finally, good to see a team who actually makes the effort to learn it correctly. You have earned my respect, unlike other teams from America I have seen doing it totally wrong! KIA KAHA E HOA MA..

  • fah too much ae americans samoans doin da haka lol jus slow it down a lil bit, some of the actions they doin are wrong and unco as lmao...fah getta real maori boy in there n teach them properly, not some somaon

  • hahah kapa o pango(the haka ur trying to do) is talking about describing yourselve as an erupting volcano! haha just learn the words properly and itll b al guds! oh and slow it down slow and hard haka's are the most powerful ones everythings better slow and hard hahahahahaha oh and get derek lardelli or one ov those fallaz to teach you kia ora!

  • Interesting!!!

  • Im american Im gonna join that team when i go to that college and were gonna be number ONE

  • @elementx77 good luck with that

  • at 4.20 are some Samoan men doing Maori Haka with a touch of Hawaiian Lei

  • To all my Maori brothers remember these are our older brothers and it is done with mana and respect I will be glad to one day hear their own hakas being written and performed but to perform Kapa O Pongo for them is right and righteous ki Kaha Tama toa

  • I have no problem with Kapa O Pongo being performed by non Maori but when the mainland US teams or other poly teams performed Ka Mate Haka written by Te Rauparaha from Ngai Toa I am ashamed angered and saddened. I hope one day to hear of the Hawaiians writing their own haka distinctive to their own battles and people. To me in this video the mana is there and it is being performed with the respect this toanga deserves. We will always be the little brother Ki Kaha tama toa

  • I'm proud to be part Hawaiian this is BA

  • This is why I love Hawaii football! They're the only team here in the US that actually does a Haka. I've watched a lot of clips of the All Blacks on youtube and the Maori Haka is one of the coolest damn things I've ever seen. But hey, isn't called something different in Hawaiian? I thought Haka was a Maori word.

p.s. fuck Alabama fans for booing it!

  • fuck all yall that thinks tha hakas gay... all them dislikes up thr can go to hell... Laie bOiz...

  • lol the Haka is the only good thing to come out of those islands as far as culture goes

  • BOOOOO AMERICANS STEALING CULTURE FOR A FKN SPORT GAME!!!

  • HAWAI'I,AOTEAROA,SAMOA,TONGA,RAPA NUI,TAHITI,RAROTONGA....WE ARE ALL POLYNESIAN!!!CANT WE ALL EXCEPT THAT!!!WE ALL HAVE THE KOKO(BLOOD)OF EACH OTHER!!YET WE STILL FIGHT AMONGST EACH OTHER AS IF WE WERE ENEMIES!please!!!my brothers and sisters!stop with the wars and arguements!i myself is a kanaka maoli...and i along with hundreds...thousands of other polynesians would wish to stop the hate amongst our own blood....NO POLY WAR!!!aloha!

  • Ko te mea nui...he tangata!!! Yes indeed, we all share a very very very and immense culture similarity...as a matter of fact we practically related in some point..so its good to see even though is far apart,at least out tipuna(ancestor) are keeping us together in our wairua(spirit)....so to all the polynesian brothers and sisters....dont judge our own but learn to embrace it!!!!!! Ka mihi nu ni kia koutou katoa.....maranga mai....kia maia, kia toa, kia manawanui.

  • i think that people should understand what the haka they are doing is about.. i think thats pretty much it.. but to the people who think that cause they speak maori that makes them more of a maori then other people thats BS. i ako au i te reo mai i te kura o manutuke me ritana. that dont make me more maori then anybody else my dad doesnt speak maori that doesnt mean he isnt maori prob got more maori blood then me..

  • you hawaiins bloody rep your own culture thats why your culture is dying.

  • @maorichurrbaycuzzy ey my cuzin, why must you handful of "maori" disrespect ur polynesian brothers.now u represent your heritage yet you show no respect towards your kanaka maoli brothers and sisters. now i know if your kupuna would see what you have typed, youd probably get a good whack across ur face.and i know that my own culture is basically turning into american society but there is a lot of true kanaka maoli kupuna AND keiki trying to bring back our life our ancestors were livin.aloha.

  • The maori haka is the best.

  • youtube (dot)com/watch?v=3HtVivhwYQM mean haka

  • ..for the haterz.. if you do your research you'll find that it WASN'T just the maori that did haka. In fact haka was prevelant throughout all polynesia, meaning Hawaiians, Samoans, Tongans etc etc all used haka for the exact same reasons so please don't lay claim to something that belongs to all Polynesian people.

  • @fobzter07 while you are right your incorrect also. All polynesian cultures had it but used it in different ways the haka came out from Maori, fiji had the cibi, samoa had the siva tau etc etc its not that we are claiming it all but the haka and all other war dances are different and they are different for a reason different cultures created different things, so its in our right to claim the haka since it came from our people, the UH football team to avoid patented hakas and laws changed haka

  • Respond to this video... to ha'a and used basically the same actions with a lil difference theres no originality its plagiarism!

  • chur mean effort - 2 the sa brother i get what u mean i hate seeing other maori having a cry about it 2 bro , i get u on that , just dont shit in somone elses back yard when u aint checked ur own kuz- 1 love - nesians needa get behind each other not in front of each other

  • WOWHZAZ! Iv Just read these comments. Very disappointing tsk tsk... As offensive as alot of those comments are. I don't see why we can't be supportive towards our Island relations e pa ana ki te Haka. We should be happy to know that part of our culture is being performed wiv mana. Mike Tyson, Robbie Williams, Rihanna, Chris Brown and Ben Harper al hav a ta moko and yet there is no heated discussion bout that. Im not picking on people, I love my culture engari ko te mea nui, ko te KOTAHITANGA.

  • Im maori and im from the land of aotearoa (great white cloud) New Zealand. And if my Tupuna (ancestors) where alive today they would be deeply offended, first of all most these men dont even know what there saying! THIS HAKA COMES FROM Te Rauparaha! Ka mate! Ka mate! Ka ora! Ka ora! I die! I die! I live! I live! Learn what your saying! pronounce the words properly! and respect our culture!!

  • @efescee Screw you stupid Maori's and your dead culture, be greatful people actually do the Haka. You sound like a bunch of elitist pricks, give me a break. You hear us Samoans complain about people using the fireknife dance? No, because we embrace it and love the people who try to learn something from our culture.

  • @illusion80 wow so maoris are stupid now?? ive got nothing against samoans bro I have alot of repect for your culture and I have good friends that from Apia Im just saying people need to respect our haka or dont do it at all

  • @efescee Why? Give me a break, like I said you should be honored that people want to use a piece of your culture. You think the people using it don't respect it? Get a clue man, all you Maori's come off as elitist pricks, oh don't use our Haka, sound like a bunch of girls.

If it weren't for other Poly's using it, nobody would even mention your dead culture. Like I said, you should embrace that others want to use a part of your (dying) history.

  • @illusion80 since when is our culture dead? your the one coming of as a prick talking about as if you know everything. I know some are going over board but what we are afraid of is the americanization of our culture as a tool for profit, and dont act like they dont. our culture is soo strong everyone knows about it because its unique and different from other polynesian cultures that are very similar, samoan, tongan are similar, hawaiian, tahitian and cook island are similar

  • @efescee By the way, my dad and uncles were all born and raised in Auckland (most of my family still live there). I've only been there twice when I was young, but I never knew that Maori's acted like this, till I came on here. No wonder your race and culture is dying. You should be proud that other people want to use a part of your culture, not acting like little kids who just got their bike stolen. It's sad.

  • @illusion80 so what?? just because you hear degradative criticism from one maori? you judge the whole race naming us Elitist pricks? clearly shows you have some serious issues ? and my heritage aint dead my people are still living proud matter of fact we have Matatini Regionals( celebration of of Maori heritage and Maoi culture) every second year. so what do you do? besides sit behind a keyboard placing deogradative feedback? wake up and move on uso.....

  • @efescee Why don't you move on, your culture is dying and every Maori I see posting about the Haka sound like a bunch of bitter women. Don't use our Haka, WAAAAH!

What do I do? I can actually speak my native language fluently, what about you? Why don't "YOU" wake up and take pride that others are taking an interest in your culture, instead of putting them down. This may not be about you personally, but look at your fellow Maori's posts and tell me they don't sound stupid and selfish.

  • @illusion80 By the way. our culture isn't dying, or else the other countries wouldn't be using the Maori Haka, or learning the Poi even our language. I would watch what I am saying if I were you, because NZ seems to have alot of your culture coming into our country, which tells me that it is your culture that is becoming extinct. At least we can always refer back to our history in Aotearoa.

  • @ItiKahurangi How is our culture going extinct, when you are saying alot of our culture is coming into your country? That doesn't make any sense, if anything that's showing how we're expanding and growing.

Also, I crossed the line calling Maori's stupid, It was meant to be towards the ones who put down other cultures who try to do the Haka. I apologize for that, but some of you need to get a clue and show some love to others who try to embrace your traditions.

  • @illusion80 embracing traditions is fine but were talking about others trying to claim it and get something out of doing it. Like the americanization of our culture and trying to make a profit out of it for example Hollywood does it all the time and not only to maori but anyone they can make a buck off. Its a part of globalization but doesn't mean we have to let it happen we can protect it from people trying to get stuff from it.

  • @gr3at1 Protect it? We're all Poly's, that's why I was so mad. These guys are not trying to steal from you or show any type of disrespect towards the Maori culture. If anything they're paying homage to a great and ancient dance. They may not do it as good as the original, but they put their heart into it and to hear some of your fellow Maori's replys, it really pissed me off.

I apologize for sinking to their level and have much respect to our brothers in NZ, well most of them.

  • @illusion80 our race and culture is not dying its actually very strong thank you very much

  • Everyone here from New Zealand needs to understand that Hawaii is the MixPot of the world. There are many Maori/Samoans/Hawaiians/Malayz/Other Pacific Islanders and they have thus brought their culture here. These guys represent the Haka well

  • you just want to be maori sad!!!

  • this is cool. I bet 99% of americans have no idea what the haka is or care, as the USA does not have a remotely well covered rugby team or much involvement with New Zealand. From what i hear the Hawaii does not do the All Blacks "kamate", but do their own dance. So its not a rip off, more of an homage or tribute.

  • cmon if u gonna steal our haka atleast give it 110 % f#$@^&* monkeys

  • Im maori. i think its pretty mean watching our cuzzinz ova in Hawai'i do our Haka...Ka Pai koutou!

  • y r dey doin this? of course hawaii r our cuzzies here in nz

but is it necessary for them to copy us? and it does not mean

coming toghether and joy, it was originally for victory over war

if i am correct, but good job though our cuzzies.

  • hahaha shame hawaii, why copy? yous are polynesian if hawaiins do the haka then yous shold do a hawaiin haka, and if hawaii doesnt i think it would be better if yous did something more traditional to hawaii, i know the hake is a link to your polynesian roots but your team is a hawaiin team so why not do something hawaiin its not like hawaii doesnt take pride in culture or anything im sure yous would find something

  • give you guys props for taking it into thought and performing it before your guys games

  • his family sent them the all blacks haka. haha cmon guys,

  • I agree that any Lua Ha'a used would send any opposing team back into the locker room, and that comes from experiance. whether you call it Haka, or Ha'a, it's all the same, and Polynesians are one and the same, we need to unite not fight. Whenever I do our any of our Ha'a's it's empowering and meaningful, it's not a dance, and it's not for entertainment, it's for the participant to call upon your ancestors and ask for there help! Ha'a (Breath of Life)

  • to be honest. I dislike it when i see it done by most american teams. BUT YOU GUYS. DO IT RIGHT. good on the polys for stepping up and respecting the maori culture by pushing our heart and energy.

And the other cultures guys, bloody awsome getting in there.

    good luck to your season.

    aroha nui

  • @hopoi Correct, copycat stuff is lame.

  • dumb fucks took it from the new zealand all blacks.that is disrespectful using this for a sport that has nothing to do with our culture

  • @nzrobertnz oh who cares. they gave it ago. and they did not mean any disrespect...they will learn on the way....just as long as they respect it and learn to get it right. thats all.

  • They look like Maori but don't move like Maori. They seem quite unco for poly's maybe they need to watch how the Maori do it or get taught by Maori league boys or by some Sole's or Tama-c's

  • THIS IS AWESOME!!! Awesome because they understand what they are doing and why they are doing it. They are showing their respect for the haka, WAY TO GO OUR PACIFIC CUZZIES!!! WAY TO REPRESENT!!! Gonna look for your games on sky and watch them now that I know who you are. KIA ORA KI A KOUTOU KATOA.

  • Dam ThAt Lady has a Hot and SEXY Vibe to her VOICE

  • THIS IS AWESUM!!

As a Maori I am proud that the University of Hawaii has taken on board use of the Haka. I am particularly proud as my great, great, great grandfather Te Peke was the right hand man to the chief that wrote THIS haka, Ka Mate, Te Rauparaha.

Just to clear up a few things though, Kamate wasnt written for the All Blacks, it was written by Te Rauparaha about 60years before the All Blacks properly existed, and was used by them, Kapa O Pango Haka was written for the All Blacks.

  • you fucken homos

  • Drunkenstooge obviously doesn't know what he's talkin about. Most rugby players have their ears rubbed off during the game. You probably play football and never even tried rugby.

  • also one of the most pussiest games on the planet play rugby like a real man without all that padding !!

  • damn straight!

  • Rugby's for faggots. Football players get hit a hell of a lot harder, hence the padding.

  • man their culture must really fucking suck so they have 2 steal our maori haka man and they dont evan look good doing it fucking hawaiins dont have the mana to do our maori haka do ur own ffs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • lol if hawaiian culture sucks then so does yours... since you come from the same background. Also maybe you should look up Lua. nuff said.

  • @maorifly1995

Bra, are you stupid or something? Hawaiians and Maori come from the same polynesian back ground. so technically we all da same no matta if you're maori, hawaiian, somoan or what eva. so quit talking shit you stupid kid.

  • they used the maori haka because you come from the same background. Also if they used Lua chants,,,the other teams would piss there pants and run. nuff said.

  • IE kaant wait ill Tumeke touch comp in september florida and you homos better be ther!

Ill show yous how to haka you dumb fucken shits!

    IM Chalenging you homos!

  • Boo to the hori under me......

  • I see nothing but un-original coconuts copying our Haka as always.

They must think their own culture sucks to have to do ours so often.

  • All Blacks, let me become one with the land This is our land that rumbles Its my time! Its my moment! This defines us as the All Blacks Its my time! Its my moment! Our dominance Our supremacy will triumph And be placed on high Silver fern! All Blacks! Silver fern! All Blacks!
  • this isnt the original... do you know nothing about soccer??? idiot...

  • not enuf mana yous look stupid doing it! sorry

  • I go to UH and I still agree with you, what is even more pathetic is now they do the Ha'a which is supposed to be the "hawaiian" version of the Haka and they are trying to pass it off as traditional. Plus they aren't the All Blacks so why did they use Kapa o Pango. Pisses me off.

  • i find this really disrespectful to us maori people aye, you's rnt maori. yous r hawiian get ur own dance faggots..

  • you faggots shoudn't be surfing then since hawaiians invented it according to your logic

  • The maori invented the haka you american jackass.

  • @MzCurrupt yur a egg e hoa.. i wouldn't call them faggots, the hawaiian people been slowly regaining their culture, which they have now.. they're our brothers..

and it ain't just a dance...

  • @djhemzremix They are our cuzzinz ae. dont need to put them down on what they doing @MzCurrupt. they mean well and put their heart and soul into this even though it may look funny to us, thats how they do it. and they can only learn by doing it and giving it a go!....mean boys...

  • That was a fuckin mess.

  • look l think its great that thay doin the haka but you cant steal a haka and use it we R all Polynesian but wer all diffrent similar but diffrent cant they do a hawain one ffs its maori !!! u dont have enouph mana to do our maori haka!!!!!!!!!!

  • pfft this is just kinda... wrong. Leave it where it belongs.

OMG how funny was it when he pronounce the "all blacks" as the "all BLACKS" I fucking rofl'd. So ignorant. The emphasis is more on the all. hahahaha.

  • the 3 people under me thid was the year they went undefeated and only lost to georgia because they switched up the offensive stradegy we only practiced the haka after practice so you all are sum mahus get ur facts straight

  • only ones who should be doin the HAKA is the moari...... they do it RIGHT and with pride ! not like what i see here . looks silly slapping themselves ,

  • i see your point i think they do it pretty good thou YOU GUYZ GO HARD . KIA KAHA

  • whateva mahu makes fun of my country you better have incurence or if your parents are a doctor..mahus better shut up about all your racies..

  • This is wack. They practice more on the haka then they practice for football. Thats why they suck at college ball.

  • the other team "mind boggled" and gets us going??? TWAT you dont have a clue what it actually means in mauri PRICK!!

  • i dout that you do cuse you cant even spell moari you twat.

  • You sir, fail hard.

  • @EquiLiBriuM1986

Why becuse i accidentally put the O before the A. I know how its spelld and the fact that there isnt any fucking U in it.

And its very much about what the guy said "The other team mindboogled and it gets us going" since it was done by difrent iwis agianst each otherbefore going in to battle .

  • too all the haters that are downing this video I sayy this "Fuckk off" but i'm not and I think What THE WARRiORs are doing is MAJUH! && to make things great like doing the haka before the game is awesome. That shows that all polyz are united.

  • Yes I understand that.

It's just that it would seem more fitting to have something like a ha'a or a sipi tau, instead of a haka, which comes from he tangata maori , then to see that very thing exploited and not performed in the right way by "football teams" in another country just for entertainment sake. It just seems a bit backwards to me.

  • lol, "his cousins from new zealand"

    what a fucking joke.

  • no no no stupid stupid stupid!! do hawaiin or samoan war cries or even tongan you guys aint man enough to do maori haka it looks more like a slap dance damn chahooos

  • easy bro, all polys are family. no need to put down your cousinz just trying to preserve our culture and represent Polynesia world-wide.

    aloha

  • LOL! This is so cracked. I don't know, but the haka looks weird when danced with gridiron padding... I've been raised in kapa haka, and it looks more African dancing than kapa haka. But mahalo kau'i for highlightin' our East Polynesian culture!

  • :27 dude looks like hes tryna give ppl the finger

  • so first they create a version of rugby that is for pussies and then the pussies copy our traditions. thats fucked up.

  • you sure are bright for being retarded...

  • hell ya i no lp peters is sick i comitted like a month ago cant wait to do this haka

  • I dont care what anybody says, this chant would get anybody fired up and want to hit somebody

  • lol these idiots aint even speaking Maori lol

  • the haka originated from the Maori, but most Polynesian cultures have a form variant of the haka, so they're going to speak their own language.

  • I don't think it's as impressive as the All Blacks but I really do appreciate that they actually studied the haka, and truly UNDERSTAND it. I'm tired of these football teams attempting to preform the haka just because they thinks its cool. Thank you for respecting the haka and the culture it came from.

  • haha "dont smile dont smile"

  • it isn't the same as rugby, it looks ridiculous as they all wear protection, it just looses the intensity

  • but both games are rough tho, they wear padding in football cus it is alittle more rougher, in football if prevents death, if u do the haka does that mean ur tough and cant stop ur self from getting seriously hurt?

  • ya, a person would think that looking outside in..... oh but bruh, that pading removes all doubt.....i run as fast as i can leading with my head into someone, and they doin the same..... i dont know rugby, but football protection (all of the protection) is needed or we all die

  • im really impressed by these guys really good you should look at writing one for your selfs as well very very good................................

  • Haka at football is ridiculous, RUGBY'S THE BEST !

  • useless

  • SAM SATELE IS A RAIDER NOW!!

shit they should do the haka...maybe the war god will help us kick some ass

  • looks like the guy at 4:29 is having a seizure

  • hey guys my name is kani I'm from new zealand full blood maori..if yous need a hand with the real words and tips on how to HAKA i can help you out ill upload a video on a.s.a.p

    hola at your boy!

  • post that dude...that would be bomb as hell.

  • that would be awesome

  • @mrkoria23 thanks man ill look at it

  • @mrkoria23 bro r u from ngapuhi?

    or te Whanau-A-Apanui?

  • @NaRuToCrAzY12629 his name is called mrKoria...looks like the same koria from te tairawhiti

  • Brigham Young University does it well. They learnt it from a Ngati Porou rangatira, team players are Ngati Porou, but born in the US.

  • Comment removed

  • You're right, I wouldn't. I've got better things to do.

I've even got better things to do than argue whether Maoris are Better Polys than Hawaiians are better than Samoans are better than the fricking Rapa Nui from the Easter Islands.

I've even got better things to do than post comments here, so see yous later sonny jim.

  • All you Polynesians arguing are idiots. You have one of the most interesting but also smallest cultures in the world. There's only a couple of million of you. You should be sticking together.

  • copycats

  • MEAN MAORI MEAN!

  • just because we are all polynesian does not mean we all came from the same place hawaiin shit head the rest of you are only try hards who know nothing about the haka FYI we came from hawaiiki nui we dont speak the same lingo as yours sounds like bunga we speak te reo

  • so wat we all polynesian we all came from one then we split up thats how we got the triangl

  • The Haka is originally from the Maoris!! NO other POLYNESIAN tribe can express haka as REAL as the Maoris!! PLease don't deface other tribes!=]

  • Kia Ora Koutou, i have struggled to watch our culture being defaced by people who havent learnt the true value of the Haka. Im proud to no that my culture is recognised worldwide BUT to portray it in such a wrong way disrespects the identity of MAORI.

  • Join the crowd, dude. I'm Native American I see the disrespect when I flick on the tube.

  • WHat do U mean by dat?

  • I was agreeing with tetahimaori, about the disrespecting thing. I see a lot here in the states.

  • Kia Ora Bro

    Much respect to you. 007RipOtee.

  • yeah...i'm maori and this team we played did the haka...not one maori or even a POLYNESIAN kid on their team...i matched the challenge back..and they tried to get up all in my face telling me i didn't know anything about it...i mean great they knowwhat the haka isbut doing it and not having a clue about it's meaning was SO disrespectful...

  • I think they have changed and a doing a ha'a now (Hawaii version)

I love it, as a European i dont have a strong culture (other than converting aboriginal people to christiantity and stealing there land.

So I am happy that other people can still be proud of their culture and revive parts that have faded

  • LMAO bro

  • well im a white maori, I could'nt speak english till 8 only maori, so seeing this haka done in america is in way's a good fing. People will know my culture all over the world, We will never be forgotton. Tip's on the haka, Slow it down, try to look as ugly as possible, poke you're tongue and roll you're eye's as if u want to eat the enemy and at the end of each haka u should have bruised arm's and stomach's

  • history 101: maoris are not samoan, neither are samoans are not maori. maoris are not melanesian, nor micronesian. they are not cook islands.

maoris, like samoans, rapanui (cook islands), tongans, tokelau, and hawaiians are all polynesians. we have the same ancestors, forefathers. the brown skinned people from the pacific. the chink eyes from the pacific are the micronesians, the dark skinned are the melanesians, including png, fiji, the solomons, vanuatu.

  • all good

  • The Maori are from the Ocean.

Since we have no idea where Hawaikii is, Maori will instead be from the Ocean, water, nothing is purer than water. So Maori are a pure people like all people are. No single race is dirty or cleaner than another. We all came from somewhere pure.

Haka is a Maori word. Hawaii is Aka or Sa'a.

You can expect islanders and mainlanders to ruin the haka but hey, alot of people need practise. Not Maori, we do it easy on the first go.

  • dont copy new zealand

  • i really like how they represent the culture by doing the haka.

i dont understand all the controversy & hate.

    whats wrong with sharing?? eh?
