Well, the special thing about Korea is that, if you make an effort to learn the language and culture, they will be extremely warm, and maybe even treat you like one of them, because they've had to conform to other societies cultures but no one to there's. If you have light pigmentation it helps.

But yeah, Korea, being very homogeneous, its hard to blend.

Also BEING Korean, in mannerism and other things will get you very far. :)

kimchi was voted numer 3 in the world for the most well balacned food. Nari did a good job but she missed a lot of real good restaurants, and culutral exhibition, taekwondo demo was fantastic, there are more than 100 different types of kimchi in korea, it keeps you young and keep your bowl movement healthy ㅋㅋㅋㅋ. I wish a gap between korea and japan woudl go away, and move on.

I'd love to get a hands on that Kimchee! That type of traditionally made from scratch Kimchee and slow fermented is hard to come by these days even in Korea. Mostly factory made mass produced stuff. Some of them are good too but can't even come close to that stuff Nari and Anthony had. Wish they sell them in the internet.

my mom and all her little church friends make their own too and sometimes together for their church.

and alot of small korean grocers will hav their own little store brand of kimchi that they make in the back wit all the other side dishes.
