  • Intro: The tension mounts..then.. total ecstasy!

  • You can't even find these cartoons on regular tv anymore. These idiot liberals think they contain too much violence. These were definitely classics!! Too bad they don't air them on regular tv anymore :-(

  • @monty4213 Well thank the E/I rule for that. ALlthough these show would gradualy good to cable anyway. The educate the children rule has become a joke.

  • Chills!!!That's what I get when I hear this.Almost in tears. If you grew up in this era, you'll understand.

  • I was still a baby when this was out, then, but I think this is pretty cool :)

  • Man that takes me back! Miss the 80s.

  • Before videotape, this is how all the great films started on television. From the Bond films to Jaws to Superman, if it was a box office hit in the late 70s to early 80s, it premiered on television on ABC Sunday Night. Thanks for the nostalgia.:-)

  • What ABC should do is make an updated version of this for day, when they do still show movies. Even If it has to look Vegasist or very Cgiist, it better then not making one at all. I sure would like to see one.

  • You´d hear this intro/opening and you´d know immediately there was some real quality entertainment coming down the pike!

  • only on youtube can you find this awesome awesome shit.

  • From back in the days when watching television could actually be an event.

  • This is what TV was like back when TV was worth watching. ABC had a Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday night movie. Great movies, so good you didn't need cable or DirecTV! It was so good, even the intros were cool! So sad today's TV is stupid and boring. (Dancing w/ the stars, Extreme Makeover, etc.) Today's TV sucks!

  • I used to tune in to ABC, just to watch this intro.

    *Ray*

  • I have to say I saw every movie here! Supermans 1, 2, and 3, all the James Bonds and Indiana Jones movies! Better than cable in those days!

  • @marcvilla278 Yes! Back in the day when one Sunday every month was a Bond movie!!

  • Great Video Memory. I am glad you included the ABC Closed Caption bumper

I remember that very well airing before most of the shows of the time

  • I miss this intro and seeing something like "Planet of the Apes" or "What's Up Doc" or some bond film... ah, childhood.

  • Brings back great memories.
