I know how every fangirl (or fanboy :P) feels about Lelouch's supposed 'end'. But the truth remains that the purpose of Zero Requem was for Lelouch to shoulder all the hate and pain of the world, and removing himself so that the people could live for tomorrow. That was his dream for a future. For the people he loved. A Continued Story. See it that way and I hope it makes all those who feel sad a little bit better. :)

I think it's just an excuse , so they don't need to make a third season .. there are more aspects supporting the "lelouch is alive" theory then lelouchs actual dead .. but at the end it's still up to youself in what you belief . They just denied it , it's not a specific proof ... so there your fantasy begins !!! btw code geass is EPIC ! Arguments Invalid :P

@PitifulHeartless Well in the japanese ending he did not die and died, I saw Him he is the guy on the carriage cc was on, and no one else ever on the show had purple eyes, R3 is about a story that happen before R1, and Lelouchs actual becomes immortal like cc after taking the code from his Father who he killed.

Due to be in killed the code toke effect so now he immortal, and you know. :)

Obviuosly Lelouch is dead, everyone here saw the exact moment he died, so what's the controversy here. The theory that he is alive and CC talked to him at the very end is just product of your imagination. So, accept that Lelouch is dead, and his death gives credibility to the story. A great one indeed. Lelouch we'll miss you

i don't care if i'll make a lot of people angry but he wanted to die. so i don't understand why so many of you wishes for him to be alive. can't CC just talk to Lelouch who's up in heaven and let her be happy? Lelouch you will always be my hero no matter what. Only your legacy will live on in the hearts of those you love.

@myleadja In my opinion, I think that Lelouch is still alive. I think that he became immortal. He beckoned the world of C to lend him powers, and took Charles code before he passed on. Now, the code activates after the first 'mortal wound', which is when Suzaku stabbed him. Once it activates, a mark should be seen on his right hand, but we couldn't see because his hand was covered in blood.

@MrChannelforwatching lol you can believe in it all you want but the problem lies not in your logic but in the decision of Mr. Okouchi and the rest of the staff that created this show. They forever closed the debate when they said he died. If he said it is up to the audience to decide than it would have been a different story.

@ladyiris12 I can tell you why he wanted to "die". He made a hero character for the people of Japan, because he wanted to strike back at Britannia. many people ended up hating that character, so he though if that character killed him, the character would be the hero. But Lelouch knew about the immortality, CC told him. So now people think he is dead, he can now end his mission in secret. :D sooo clever!!!
