Your first jump can be tandem or alone(2 instructors will jump out and fall beside you until you pull for the first 3 AFFs). Do an AFF because your first skydive should be under your own canopy, I'm glad I didn't do tandem.
Clonbullogue is probably best, I was talking to a lad who travelled all the way from cork to get to the IPC, he said the other drop zones were run by cowboys but I've no idea about that.

Did AFF1 a couple of weeks ago, every time I take a deep breath I'm back in the field carrying my parachute back to the hanger. Unreal experience.
