  • I want an mp3 download for this. It would be so useful.

  • I wish i was korean!!

hangul is so easyy unlike chinese! theres heaps of characters and you have to memorise it! soo hardd D:

  • I just started to learn korean, and this video helps me so much, thanks a lot : )

  • Oh, wow, that was fun, and I didn't feel lost like I do in a lot of videos where you listen and repeat! :]

  • i'm learning chinese and japanese. I really need help with chinese, there's just too many symbols.

  • Chinese.. is a time thing.

Ima chinese and Ive learnt it for like.. years already. Its my first language and I still have trouble with many words.

So if your not patient... I suggest you just go on to japanese. Cause chinese doesnt have a certain alphabet like english and korean where you just put stuff together to make words.. so yeah.

  • @courtney6776 which is why Korean make sense lol

  • Yeah, there's no alphabet for Chinese. You'll have to learn by rote memory initially how each character sounds.

  • Cool!!I'm planning to learn Korean (I'm still learning Japanese) and to write it, My friend was laughing her head off when she listened to this.(she thinks it sounds kinda strange)

  • lmao during the whole thing xD .. hahha im so gonna learn by this rap

  • love korean

  • i really love korean and japanese chinese and all that stuff but ... it really confuses me o_o but i also wanna learn it ^.^

  • My goal before I die is to be fluent in Japanese, Chinese and Korean. So far, I haven't done any, but I'll get there one day!

  • haha

i remember listening to this everyday when i took korean classes when i was younger xD

  • japanese is my first language, and i find it so hard to distinguish between the korean vowels and consonants x_x i'll get there some day

  • why is it hard to distinguish?

  • I'm on the same boat as you

  • I am taking chinese 1, in 2 years I can take another language. Which is easier Korean or Japanese?

  • don't worry, it's hard for me too, and my first language is english...

wait... did you mean to imply that it's supposed to be easier to distinguish between the vowels and consonants for those whose first language is english?what

  • I know, Japanese is my second language, and I feel the exact same way. =( がんばってね!

  • It's not as catchy as abcdefg ... Oo

  • i find it funny that i caught on to japanese and chinese much faster than korean. But i'm trying!!!And i'm so gonna learn this language!!

  • yeah me 2 O.O ...

  • haha this is actually kinda fun to repeat^^

  • im studying japanese and i know korean =)

    Alphabet is extremely easy

  • are you from Korea? or did you just learn it? if so, how long did it take for you to learn?

sorry for all the questions...i'm just trying to get a feel for how long it might take to learn..thankss!!

  • I am currently learning Korean.

It's very easy to learn the alphabet and there are plenty of good sites that can help you with it, if you practise some every night you will know it within a week. After that it's just training and more training and then you will read it fluently. Learning the alphabet is like 0.5% of learning Korean.

  • Hello

If you know like a handfull of good website where you can learn Korean, please foward me the url. Please, please and more please! :)

    Thanks!

  • I'll try to learn the alphabet, but there's no saying i'll be able so pronounce them :P

I don't know why but I prefer learning japanese and chinese. I'm gonna learn spanish and german too, so watch out!!!

  • heeyyyy!! Hi!! :D lol i m in love with languages and i m learning korean and japanese, i know spanish and i plan to study german and portuguese one day :D lol

  • why not u learn french instd of learning german??

    o_0

  • cause im learning french in school and it's soooo difficult and kinda boring ...

  • your learining french too.? i know its so BORING

Are you looking to learn korean?

  • Genki French is coming soon!

  • I can help you with german, if you like :D

  • IS korean easier than english or chinese??And the rap is o0 funny with the pronounciation.

  • gyaahh. if start learning korean now, it mess up my progress in japanese.

  • Japanese is pretty easy. Hirigana is harder to "write" than hangeul though, but overall Japanese is quicker and easier! I do think Korean is what you should learn first because it's more used for business, Then try Japanese!!!

  • haha so cute !!! this videa really cleared up all my queries for the pronounciation. but its relai funny!

  • yeah baby i got it!

  • just tried it. easily the best introductory drills EVER. excellent language site.

i wish there were more like this.

  • OMG!!! it's so nice

  • lol^^ ah ah oh oh eh eh ih ih uh uh ... im learnin chinese but i wanna turn to japanese...but i dont know if korean is easier or more used ...??????????

  • japanese is WAYY more easier xDD

this was way to fast for me and it sounded

    so complicated.

  • LMAO. it sounds funny >_> :[ me no understand

  • Japanese overall is easier for me - but that's probably because my teacher is good. The only hard part is Kanji.

Korean is pretty hard to pronounce at times but the alphabet looks easy enough. =]

  • ya i have to agreed with you, i'm learning japanese right now and i think it's pretty easy, like 2 months ago i know nothing about japanese language but now i know a lot, i'm not saying i'm good at it tho

  • yeah, korean characters are easier than japanese..

  • agree!!

  • lol i say

  • I just don't understand how to use the alphabet.

  • I think that the Korean is so hard to pronuntiation...but I love it

    Thanks for the video.

    Andrea from Spain.

    Korean Fighting!

  • that's the better and faster way to learn hangul i've ever seen!!!BRAVO

  • haahah that was fun!

  • 00:8 - 00:9 once is wind in vietnamese

00:24 - 00:25 once is rain in vietnamese

00:27 once is milk in vietnamese

LOL. just noticed lmao. I'm viet .. haha .

  • lmao

  • same here

Korean is easier in learning the alphabet, but SOOO much harder for me in pronunciation; while Japanese is reeaaalllyy easy in pronunciation for me, and it's a little bit harder to get the alphabet(s).

    LOL

  • you're totally right, curetocaring!!

  • My brother teaches English in Daegu.

I am hoping to go visit in October.

The Korean language is so very interesting.

    Thank you.

  • do u have the mp3 download?

  • its like rap song! haha

  • .......

    Im lost.

  • lol

  • ahh korean is too hard!!!! just hearing it confuses me to the maxx and makes my head want to explode like a super nuclear kimchi bomb!!!(just try to picture that) but japanese on the other hand is a gazillion times easier (well at least for me) (>^.^)>

  • Japanese is easier to pronounce for English speakers, yes. But Korean is miles easier than Japanese to read and write. No KANJI! You can seriously learn to read and write Korean in a day or two at most.

I'm learning both, and they each have their difficulties. I use japanesepod101 and koreanclass101, it's a good way to learn (and the daily lessons are free). Try them out...

  • ne, i agree there. i can pick up japanese songs faster than korean, but korean is WAY easier to write because it has less curves and dots than japanese. i learned the korean letters in two hours! omo! i just started with koreanclass101 too! :D

  • lol are you trying to learn two asiatics languages in the same time ? Well done (?) Can i recomend you the THAI language lol.

  • thank you

  • so cute~~~

  • yes the kana were easy but memorizing the 600 kanji and having to say them like in 3 different ways is really hard i put japanese aside for later and im currently lerning vietnamese

  • this isn't japanese, it's korean, and there are less symbols in the korean alphabet than in the english alphabet. >.> you're totally in the wrong video dude.

  • ya!! this is cute!! :D thanks!!

  • Hahaha, this is so cute!

  • eassssyyyy

  • Are all of the sounds doubled like this for real? Or just for the song?

  • Just for the song, so you can listen and repeat!

  • huk..huk..ROFL XD

  • haha ive seen this before. i already know those, but i watch this all the time cause its so funny :) and i mean that in a good way!

  • Do you mean, "the Korean Language is the most scientific language in the World?" See how silly English is? :)

  • ok...

    in english plz?

  • a little fast but useful =D

  • wooooo go koreans! lol

  • what happened to eh and yeh?

  • wow!! hahahah it's soo fast

  • ....... hahahahahahahaha can i become a foreign exchange student now?... i now know my alphabet... hangul

I just cant grasp the sounds.

  • SUPAH EASY!! yay!! ahahaa

  • ahaha funny and good

  • that was awesome!!

  • Haha. I laughed.

  • interesting. I can only count up to ten in Korean

  • Lol Korean is so much easier to write than Japanese.. xD

  • hilarious, catchy, and helpful!!!

  • lol! that's fun

  • this is wat i do at my korean school

we say the thing super fast though

  • genki chinese please

  • learnt

  • this video shows just how each hangul alphabet is pronounced. so when we read hangle words, we have to mix them like this:

    'ㄴ[n]'+'ㅏ[a]' = '나[na]'

  • i can't really hear what she said..

  • so basically [n] sound added with [ah] sound will make sound something like [nah] ㄴ + ㅏ = 나

  • this video shows just how each hangul alphabet is pronounced. so when we read hangle words, we have to mix them like this:

    'ㄴ[n]'+'ㅏ[a]' = '나[na]'

  • This vedio shows just how each hangle alphabet is pronounced. So when we read hangul, we have to mix them like this.

    'ㄴ[n]'+'ㅏ[a]' = '나[na]'

  • LOL!!!! ahh. i love this it's sooooo cute.

  • so fun! teaches me how to rap... but really i learned that's those are supposed to pronounce that way.

  • Pretty cool! Is that the so-called 'alphabetical order' of the Korean Alphabet? Vowels come first, then consonants.

  • This was one of the things that taught me how to read hangul.

  • i now know to say thank you, sorry, excuse me, and please in korean --> pretty proud of myself, korean is so hard to pronounce (correctly) mienemita (sorry)?

  • Hmm.. then break it down like this..

    (sorry ~formal~)

    Mee-yan-ham-nee-dah

    Mianhamnida

  • does anybody know if there is suppose to be a specific order in saying the vowels? like how for the american way.. it would be like.. abcdefghijkl.. and so on... well for korean is there an order? i'm looking everywhere and people seem to be confusing me

  • yes, this is the order: consanants: ga na da la ma ba sa aa ja cha ka ta pa ha, and this is for the vowels: aa yah uh yuh oh yoh u yu eu ee

  • Yes, there is a correct order. The order presented in this video is the correct order.

  • yeah i'm pretty sure there is an order, that's what my friend from korea says, i have no idea what is is though sorry

  • ahahahahhaa.

not the best way for me to lean korean.

i just end up listening and laughing at it.

    but thank you.

    i will practice :)

  • this made me laugh

  • umm..how are we suppose to learn korena if we dnt knwo what its saying?

    sumbodyy please helpppp me.

    im trying to learn korean!

    :]

  • Korean is kinda difficult...

  • korean is one of the easiest languages to learn. that is why korea has one of the highest literacy rates. its not that difficult.

  • there's no Y & Z?

  • Listen to the vowels again, you'll see there's a "y" added on to each one, the second time. However, there isn't a "z" or a "v" or an "f". That's why people in Korea say "peeja" for pizza, "typoon" for typhoon, and "beesa" for visa. (all "Konglish" words used everyday)

  • HAHAHA i was laughing so hard

    while pronouncing it. =.=

  • Lol...kinda confusing....I rather go to japanese school and chinese school again...lol ^.^;;;;

  • really?

i rather learn this than go to chinese skool.

  • O_O Nvm, I'll just ask my mom to teach me korean againXD

  • again??

XD i forgot the alfabet of korea!! XD

i know how it is spelled and everything

but i dont know what is the name

of each simbol or letter of whatever XD

  • AHahaa.. Actually this rap makes it seem very difficult but I played the game for this and I know how to read alittle bit now! WOOH! Although.. sometimes.. i dont understand what Im saying.. ahaaa

  • thanks this help so much! Korean is pretty tough to learn!

  • really difficult

  • interesting...

  • this is fun i 'm studying this language8D

  • nice. i love this

  • this is hilarious

  • this is highly addicting!

  • is that how you really pronounce the letters?

cuz in this other vid, they are writen and said differently. it had most of the letters sounding with "ue" in it. =S
