Stevie Wonder could've seen that guy was gonna merge over. He was stopped there with his signal on. As a bike rider, you should realise you need to ride like everyone is out to get you. It was the best advice I ever got from an older rider. I guess you're new to bikes. You didn't want to let the driver in your lane at all; riding aggressively like that. You're reaction by revving the bike also makes me think you're new.
I rewatched this video a few times and the white truck did not cross a solid white line... what are you talking about ?
As a motorcycle rider, you should have anticipated their manoeuver. I have been driving since I was 12, and I see these instances often, and have my motorcycle licence since I was nineteen, and enjoy riding, defensively !
@ya472 If you don't see the white line, then you aren't paying attention. You can plainly see the solid white line right beside her vehicle when she makes a complete stop in that lane. Then when she starts moving, you can see her crossing over that line and proceeding across all the lanes to turn into the parking lot. The solid white line is there to keep people from turning into that lot from that far left side of the road right after an intersection.

What she did cutting you off like that was definitely not cool, but she didn't cross any solid white line. The solid white line wasn't until a lil' bit aways up ahead, not where you both turned.
wow what an idiot! though she wanted to turn she stopped in the lane that she should have not stopped as she had her own lane, there for she cause build up just for her to turn! I hate when people stop when they shouldnt as if they would keep up speed they would have moved safely when needed! also im just assuming they have own lane as it looks like it but I dont know!
@jimmatt2311 I don't know what you are talking about. Ask anybody who has ridden with me, and they will tell you I am a good rider and a safe rider. Also, you are wrong, what the driver did was illegal. That solid white line is there for a reason, but she ignored it and crossed it. In Texas, even it there hadn't been a solid white line, it still would have been her fault because she was crossing lanes.
@jimmatt2311 It would have been the SUV's fault troll. You can not change lanes when the other lane is occupied by traffic. She should have stayed in her own lane until it was safe to signal and move into the other lane. Obviously it wasn't safe.
