Agreed. There are several products that allow you to take advantage of Windows game libraries on a mac. Also, many game distributors are beginning now to produce games for Mac. This argument, while not completely invalid, is soon to go away entirely. Valve is releasing most, if not all, of it's library of Source engine games (HL2, Portal2 (soon to come)) for MacOS, along with a Steam client.

i rarely have problems with my cheap desktop or crappy laptop, however the macs i use are constantly crashing and freezing, you can't even play a file from an external source (disk, usb drive etc) without it freezing

well I have used macs 10 years in that time never once got a virus and never used an anti virus. with windows it lasted 10 mins without getting a virus it was a little test to see how unsafe it was. it was running SP1, no anti virus and just left sat plugged into the internet running in bootcamp on my macbook, it 10 mins it got about 3 viruses

i rarely have problems with my cheap desktop or crappy laptop, however the macs i use are constantly crashing and freezing, you can't even play a file from an external source (disk, usb drive etc) without it freezing

as for the macs, most of them are from this/last year, although there are some OLD ones ( i didnt even know macs were around back then :O) but we rarely use them

Macs should have ran PC off the market until bill gates had to go and steal the Mac OS and make windows.
I don't know why they freeze and crash unless your external storage is corrupt... mine don't... infact i have most of my files on my external 500gb western digital hard drive that is always plugged in and it never freezes.

To throw more fuel on the fire. For a general purpose home computing device, any OS that doesn't come with a friendly, comprehensive, continual backup solution, or worse, doesn't even have one as an optional download is atrocious, especially when said OS has the tendency to crap it's pants and need to be reloaded. And yes, I know "windows has never needed to be reloaded for you". Not all users have every problem.

well I have used macs 10 years in that time never once got a virus and never used an anti virus. with windows it lasted 10 mins without getting a virus it was a little test to see how unsafe it was. it was running SP1, no anti virus and just left sat plugged into the internet running in bootcamp on my macbook, it 10 mins it got about 3 viruses

Well first off, thats SP1, I mean SP2 was developed to combat the whole Spyware outbreak.
Secondly, at this point, XP is a great, and secure choice for Windows.

There are dozens of operating systems in existence, past and present, and only DOS and Windows were so full of security flaws that a whole industry of malicious code could grow up around it.

I don't care how good Apple makes its product look, whenever I work on a Mac I feel so damn limited. It's like the whole thing was just created for fun and entertainment. They didn't once think about programmers, graphics designers, special effects artists etc. I will keep working and supporting Microsoft because they are the BEST! Mac's aren't flawless they got some big glitches and problems!

yeah the commercials are awesome but, not the commercials get all credit. It's about the designs and modern new features added onto their machines, ever since late 1998 they obviously wanted to design for young people and people who appreciate art and such.
