yeah i was there, got closer to the stage with this lot than joy division, only 5 pints with ymg after 8 i dragged myself in the direction of jd. in my opinion the greatest gig they ever did, there are two bootlegs, for the majority of the songs the audience recording is artisticly superior, only a couple ( ithink atrocity exb and 1 more) are better from the mixing desk rec. happy days

You obviously weren't there,but if you were your memory is shite.Joy Division didn't play in 80 as Curtis was dead (although flexi discs were handed out on the friday night) and YMG set was ruined when they lost power.And it was no trouble to get close the stage,I actually slept under it until I got custard pied by Not Sensibles! Really happy days...if you were there.
