I have the 1.2 now ubuntu installed on it 10.10 tried 11.4 but it freezes after a while /20sec// other wise ubuntu the earlier version runs smooth need to upgrade my ram to 2 gig than hopefully will be fine ... thanks hp nice 2133 for ever ...

Are there any proprietary drivers than need to be reloaded when you wipe out the HDD to do a fresh install of XP on an HP mininote?This would be great since I like the form factor of the Mininote very much but despise it's performance running a resource hog like Vista.

even my camera from 2 years ago that was meant for taking pictures have better video cause you can barely see which one is booting faster + your cam has shit fps...

If you have a mini-not 2133, yes you can. You have to re-format the drive and put a fresh install of XP on it.

Just got a mini-note with Business Vista...loads SUPER SLOW!! I wanted to know how much faster XP was...this is brilliant! :-)
