@helena7773 My perception of the song is that she found the right man to be a father. She is walking down the aisle by herself meaning that her father's presence is lacking. It's basically saying she didn't have her father and he was not a good father and although she and her husband had a boy I guess she thought she would have a girl instead of a son and that one day her daughter WILL have a father to walk her down the aisle unlike what Christina had which was nothing.

Around 1:45 she is saying she is finally breaking down because her father isn't there beside her. then it goes onto to say my love you stand beside me to lead me through this and that she owes it to her love for leaving her past and to help her take a chance.
