  • I thought only other than Jewish and Muslims

are monotheist But here aere the Unitarians

    Its between Jews and Christianity.

  • Thanks for responding. My dear departed grandmother helped out with soup kitchens decades ago. It's apolitical, too. I should try something like that.

I wish there was a way that I could help the self-employed get a start. I'd help them network, get them in touch with medical benefits, that sort of thing. That's something I wish I had when I was contracting.

I think that would be a grand expression of justice in both social and economic senses. But how to start something like that?

  • Thanks for making this video.

I've been attending a UU church for the past few months, and I fully embrace the freedom within the church's covenant.

That said, I have trouble with the notion of "social justice." It seems to run counter to the virtue of respecting the dignity and worth of every individual, because when you apply social justice, you judge classes, not individuals, of worthiness.

Atomic individualism seems just as absurd, but there must be better ways to change a society.

  • I myself have been struggling with this.

My social justice actions run more along the lines of spreading information, I'm not an outright demonstrater.

I tend to stick to service projects as my social justice (like soup kitchens and drug rehab etc)
