Does anyone know any good Turn-Based Tactical board game that plays a lot like the video game X-COM, but is simple to strategy game, like chess (with no character leveling involved)? I know that there is a game called WarHammer, but that is too complicated with leveling and stuff!

Good review Eric. Love the humor and enjoyed seeing the custom version of this game. I got a good sense of the flow of the game from the video.

Small point it seems like the focus was a bit out and was sometimes hard to see the components clearly.

@scottpizio Your best bet is to look on EBay to see if a copy is being auctioned. When I looked at Amazon, the only two copies available were going for over $300. I'm lucky to own a copy myself, and I thoroughly enjoy playing the game.

It's sad and frustrating when cool games like this go out of print, especially for those of us who have only recently had their eyes opened to good board games. It's a problem unique to this hobby, too. You can use emulation to play old out of print or abandoned video games, and old books, movies and TV shows are easier to get a hold of now more than ever.
