SMH, I have been defending Tony Romo for the past few years but what he did in the jets game is inexcusable. WHY throw the ball to Darrelle Revis, Dez was DOUBLE covered. And, our goaline offense was bad other than the Dez brayant touchdown. Jason Garrett is a moron for calling three passing plays on 3 downs at the goaline, what's the point of having Felix as our starter if you aren't going to use him in these situations?
This next game is going to be a true test - we were destined to lose on 9-11 to the Jets - God was looking down on them.
San Francisco will bring the blitz, and their offense will test our defense in different ways. Both teams have a lot to prove and I know the 49ers fans want this win BADLY as the team does too. I still hate the 49ers.
As far as the O-Line goes, I think it might be more accurate to see the numbers on how many hits Romo took vs how many time the Jets brought pressure and also how many hits he took when they didn't bring pressure. It seemed to me the Jets brought A LOT of pressure and with that he only took 6 hits? I'll take it. It's not like every time they pressured they won. If teams are willing to come after us like NY did, then they take thier chances but I don't see everyone getting blitz happy suddenly.
So continue crying ither accepted him or don't watch the games, and oh yeah did any one see M.Ryan fumble he drops the ball on the floor by him self with no pressure from the D and than just looks at it point being if that was Tony all bell would have broke lose at least Romo was tryin to make a play and just maybe a running game would help tony out, so he does not have to pass so much.
I just need to vent about Romo. It's just amazing how quickly people forget about the good cause according to everyone he chokes how about New Orleans, Greenbay(07), the Eagles back to back weeks, and if P.Crayton does not stop on his route in 07 playoffs they beat the giants, and the o line protects him in Minn they are in the championship game, so he lost us a couple of games that by the way he puts us in that position to win but he has won more games in the fourth,than he lost look it up.
Well part of it was Romo's fault with the turnovers. But, I really think that the ref's also had part because i saw at least 3 penalties that should have been called on the Jets. One should have been called on that Douche Plaxico Burris because of the helmet to helmet shot on Jenkins that looked like he knocked him out cold. Another was defensive pass interference on Revis because he was pushing Dez for over 10 yds. on a pass play. Lastly was a regular holding penalty that thoughdidn't bother me
AND AS FAR AS US PASSING THE BALL TOO MUCH LETS REMEMBER WHO OUR FUCKIN COACH IS PEOPLE!! A FORMER QUARTERBACK SO OF COURSE HES THINKING PASS PASS PASS SMH BUT THIS IS THE COACH YALL WANTED RIGHT?FACT IS WE CANT BLAME WADE PHILLIPS ANYMORE AND ALREADY PEOPLE ARE TALKING ABOUT DRAFTING LUCK SMH THIS IS BAD BAD BAD.
Yall kill me with this optimistic bullshit! it doesnt matter whos fault the loss was and the jets Defense isnt as good as people say. We still got play the patriots this year and the eagles twice. The point is We ALWAYS CHOKE EVERY YEAR!! we lost to the bum azz redskins last year for god sake! Scandrick is out for 4 weeks,Newman is a fuckin hurt,jenkins is hurt..WE ARE SCREWED! yall can be optimistic and I'll be realistic. Of course we will beat the bum ass 49ers then we will choke again
I totally agree with you Shango. I didn't understand the 1 rush and 2 passes in the endzone? We gained some yards with that Felix Jones rush too, especially after the Sean Lee pick? i would have ran 3 times, and if nothing got through, then i would kick a field goal. Yes, for a young offensive line i think they did well. It's 1 game, so i wouldn't go comparing the stat sheet just yet. And D looks good, i think it'll pick up once we get healthy corners too. Something fierce.
Shango i really think the o line will eventually gell as the weeks pass by...ware was beasting and i really love sean lee...but with all these db injuries idk whats gonna happen..i know our coaches have a boner for dez but if he is limping around the field then why was he still in the game? Dallas needs to learn how to finish the job. This has been going on for too long. I think this game showed that we can play with anyone in the league but it revived some bad feeling about how we finish things
when will people learn... Romo is like a bad relationship, just when you think it's going great, Romo does something to remind me that Romo isn't really good for me. The bad times weight more than the good times. I just can't defend him. Broke my heart too many times. Just cuz lol someone says you like them doesn't mean they don't piss you off.
Hey man you could blame alot of guys like Bryant should have taken himself out knowing that he could not run full speed, and Tyron was blocking this guy and rolled with him to the left and just slammed his shoulders into the turf, did anyone see that? I like this rookie O-Line, rookies have the potential to play good, like Dez Bryant, but lets keep it possitive hey we almost beat a super bowl ready team!
Shango, you must also think about this when trying to extrapolate numbers across the season....there is NO other defense like the Jets defense. Dallas ain't gonna see a defense like that again this year. No other team can come close to the quality of starting CBs like the Jets have. Very few teams in the NFL can boast as strong of a run defense like the Jets. Very few defenses are as aggressive as the Jets.
For the Cowboys offense it's all DOWNHILL from here. They just had their biggest test.
The Jets have two great corners but the rest of them seem to be very average with a lucky QB. They are built well with the offensive line and running game but they do NOT blow people out. They win in the 4th quarter....regularly. They play good team Defense but only had 5 more sacks than we did last year.
I still think we are better than them straight up. They just know how to get it done.
Sorry dude...you are not gonna get me to bow down to any team.
@thedallascowboyshow Didn't say that you had to bow down to them. Just trying to get you to acknowledge that the Cowboys faced their toughest defense they'll see all season long in Week 1.
@thedallascowboyshow exactly and the jets dont look that great 2 me! Dez was burning they azz up until he got hurt. The jets didnt win the game WE LOST THE FUCKIN GAME....AGAIN
@magoo77stickinit Oh, you mean the All-Hype Secondary? Sorry, but I don't give a shit about them cause Miles has killed both Nnamdi & DRC....and if Miles can kill them then a healthy Dez is gonna put a boot up their asses & split them in 2.
Secondly, it's only been 1 week. You can't say if the All-Hype guys are gonna play nearly as good as the Jets have been doing.

1st off, I don't blame Romo THAT much for the fumble. No one bothered to get open...especially Dez who just stood there once his fade route was run.
2nd, about the OL. Dude, STATS ARE FOR LOSERS AND STATS LIE!!! Of those 4 sacks how many was Romo hit? Just ONE. The other sacks Romo gave himself up & waited to be touched down. So to claim that Romo is gonna get blasted about 120 times this year is just a flat out LIE!!!
Hits Jimmy hits...hits don't lie...they take tolls and that will wear a QB down...We don't want him to get beat up like Cutler did last year and have nothing left at the end.
I said 96 anyway...and 75 last year...Jimmy...lets stop over exaggerating
No I definitely don't believe that as much as i don't believe our rushing average will stay at 2.5 Geez dude!
@thedallascowboyshow I was exaggerating to make my point about stats. If you look at nothing but the stats then sure, let's all panick & go crazy that Romo's gonna end up as ground beef. But if you looked at the game you would see that MOST of those "hits" in the stat book ain't even hits at all.
Sure, he was sacked 4 times but at least half of those were the "tag, your it" variety. Those shouldn't even be counted in the stats as "hits" because no one was actually hit.
I saw Jerry Jones on espn say that the game slows down for Romo late in the game now lol. Anyway, after his meltdown, I went to work very angry, horrible way to lose.
one thing is obvious about this defense though.. they will go to war for rob ryan.
i always thought of jenkins as a soft player.. after that game i have a different perspective on him. we'll see how it goes for the rest of the year. the depth will be tested, thats for sure.
a few of those sacks were coverage sacks, i'm much more encouraged than i was going into that game. they need to work on redzone plays more in practice...that has been a problem for years. tons of yards, not tons of points. a goal line runner would be nice as well.
on the choice play... watch it again and look at the jets alignment.. reminds me so much of 'load left' from years ago. the play should have gone the other way there was a huge hole on the right side.
I was thinking about that play when i was watching Brady last night. As soon as you showed Brady what you are doing on defense he'd audible into something else. That Choice run seemed like a play that could have used an audible
Great vid Shango. Thats why I listen to your vids, you're practical with your views on the Cowboys. WE MUST bounce back against San Fran!!!! If the Cowboys do what they did against the Jets minus the CHOKE we should be looking at 1-1. HOPEFULLY.
question for you, you were talking about Garrett calling 3 str8 passing plays on the one yardline...do you ever feel like maybe the coaches are trying to PAD romo's stats....i kinda felt that sunday night...love the videos man!!
I don't know about Romo's stats...but there might have been something there for Garrett to "Put up more points" on one of the elite defenses in the NFL. The thing is...you can't play with top defenses...they are there for a reason.
Romo needs someone like T.O. to get in his ass behind the scenes. 3 quarters of great football isn't enough....SEAL THE DEAL! Yeah, enough of this mess...Romo & Garrett
Great video Shango! You made a GREAT point about this offense and how it may not be built to protect a lead. Look, we do have a young offensive line. But this young offensive line is built for speed, trickery, dink and donk, gadget type offense. We can't do that crap with a two possession lead in the forth, on the road, with a great defense like the Jets. We lost this game because we cannot finish the game by pounding the rock, which in turn can eat up clock and wear their asses out.
Yeah Shango don't forget that hes a former back up to Troy.That maybe why he's pass happy on those 3 down situations,and since Brady and Chad Henie yesterday pretty much demo'ed what make top tier teams top,everyone else that has the personnel to allow a passing scheme is gonna follow.
If FOR SOME STRANGE REASON we lose to the niners, I think it will be the first time ever that I refuse to make a video after the game. And it will be because of you. :)
Romo is the reason we we're even in this game i know he messed up but c'mon the punt block and the game was over we should be running the ball there and then getting a FG if we dont get in then were up 10 with 4 mins left i blame garret not romo, btw Sanchez made worse mistakes then romo cept last pass
And let me get this straight....you're not blaming a player for not blocking down on the middle of the line on a punt block? You're giving credit to Ryan and saying "Garrett let us down"
Wow dude. You make a lot of good points, you really do. But then you say stuff like that that completely loses me. That's clearly on the player, just like it's on Romo for making boneheaded plays.
Everybody gets blame but like Jimmy Johnson...the blame goes in different areas. If a rookie first year player makes a mistake you hope he learns from it...if a 30 year old veteran QB or a 4th year offensive coordinator...yeah it's a bigger deal. A much bigger deal...you HAVE to be able to see that.
I just find myself disagreeing with you more and more lately, and it has nothing to do with the fact that you're criticizing the Cowboys, or are not being all rah rah.
I think you have very good football knowledge, but you're talking about our "pace" to give up sacks after one freaking game? Dude, you're better than that.
Yes...EVERY GAME GETS A GRADE! players are graded out that way. Each week you have to improve on what you did last week. And me thinking we did a "GREAT" job was actually number 21st in the NFL...we have to improve on that...2.5 yards per carry...dead last in the league....we have to improve on that. No sugarcoating.
I tell you...I make an overly positive video after we lose and I get yelled at...I point out ways we can improve I get yelled at. SAD....
Now whats crazy this is a talented team. we all know the Jets got one, Cowboys outplayed them the whole game! last 10 mins where just a slow motion car crash other than that its a no hitter. I think this is a playoff team, but the worry is the eagles can we get past them to win the division. Or get hot at right time, like the recent super bowl teams the last few years. but nobody is talking about MARION BARBER! how much we miss him, on the 3rd & short, and 3rd goal he makes those plays!
You blame the play calling but dont mention one part of execution. You see things so one-sided sometimes, it's not even funny.
Miles turned inside rather than outside on a PERFECTLY thrown back shoulder fade on 2nd down, and on the play that Cromartie could have picked it off, Austin slipped coming out of his break, otherwise it's a touchdown in the back of the end zone, and we're not even having this conversation.
But yeah, go ahead and bash the play calling, that's the easy excuse.
Now I know you're nuts...most of the Cowboys nation feels we should have ran....you might be out there alone on that one buddy...you might want to look around.
Ok smart guy, You tell us how we lost then....without being negative at all. Go ahead and give it a try.
@thedallascowboyshow I am very excited about the defense, I was just wondering what it will be like if T. Newman is ever healthy and Jenkins. The Jets only scored 10 points while Jenkis was in the game. Then later on Burress score against a nickle corner, then the punt block......
@thedallascowboyshow Why did we lose? We did a poor job of executing down the stretch. It's pretty obvious. If players make plays, such as turning outside on a back shoulder fade, not slipping, protecting the ball, and learning how to block down on a punt protection, we win.
Oh I agree...I have all kinds of patience for that stuff. But not for playcalling and Romo's mistakes when that has been the thing killing us for the past few years. These young guys could have had a major victory in their belt but Garrett and Romo were the ones holding them back.
@SmittytheGreatOne83 Eh...the Jets had 40 sacks last year...35 is about average...so you can come down a little but not too much....What we want to do is shut down the weaker teams to make the end number smaller than average....but mainly we want to be close to if not better than the 31 allowed last year.
The Cowboys' main problem is our rookie O-line. Smith partially got us the 3rd & 25 (Romo was the other). I understand that Romo does do some questionable things. Garret's play-calling is also a bit interesting. Garret, in my opinion, thinks too much of Romo. He's not Tom Brady. He's not Drew Brees. A thing that pissed me off (besides choking) was on the blocked punt, you look closely at the play. The #50 of the Jets is locking arms with the #89 on Dallas. Holding. Anyway, we need to get better.
@Shango. Great video again but keep in mind that the Jest have a great pass rush and we only gave up 4 sacks. That won't happen every game. If the OL plays like this next week Romo won't be sacked. I just have to question why Bryant was on the field when he clearly wasn't fit. Put Ogletree or Holley in there! Anyone! Someone fit! That was Garrett's biggest mistake of the night!
I dunno it's just that the this years season opener looks so much like last years. Compare and contrast. Last year end of second quarter, Garett calls screen play in the dying seconds, Deangelo Hall takes it the other way. This year, we pass three times in the endzone in the 4th quarter with the LEAD and we lose the ball. The play calling is killing me more than anything else.
It's just like you said, if we had won that game the confidence would be amazing. I just dont want another 0-2.
@HTTR4LIFEBnG I mean, I understand that the Cowboys have a proud fanbase and most of their fans have memories of Aikman, Smith, Irvin, Staubach, and Jimmy Johnson winning Super Bowls in the 70's and 90's. But if my team had 5 super bowls! I would let this go and not really sweat it.
But my team does not have a single Super Bowl and if my team lost with the other team coming from behind in a regular season game against a playoff team, I am not too pissed about it.
@thedallascowboyshow not you, but a lot of other Cowboys fans. Not that they don't have a right to, I just think that for a 10-6 or 11-5 team, it shouldn't happen yet.
Shango, some of those were coverage sacks, and I noticed that in some situation, Romo held on to the ball a little bit too long. Not sure I would completely attribute all the sacks to the offensive line.
Given the inexperience of the line, I think they played quite well, considering that they played one of the top defenses in the league.
Like I said in the video I think they played extremely well...but we have to improve or we will be in a ton of trouble. I don't think we'll give up 4 sacks per game at all but I also don't think we'll be held to 2.5 yards per carry in every game either. Not a chance on that.
ok romo sux..but how confident you are that you can draft a franchise qb?or, who would trade a franchise qb,such as cutler by exemple.LETS BE SERIOUS...today, he is our best choice.
No way!!! No suck for Luck campaign here. But hopefully Tony plays well and keeps his trade value up. I'm just saying...we are a very young team. Garrett + Luck + Dez would be pretty much unstoppable for 10+ years....think about it.
@thedallascowboyshow SHANGO,how many time over the last 20 years, all of us heared he will a franchise QB,and it turned out to be a bust.....redskins after winning the SB in the 90,they had 287687 QB's.see the results over that period...Romo might suck,but its our best option at this time,unless falcons, bears, chargers or pats(LOL) trade us his starter.ahahaha
Romo needs to stop smiling everytime he messes up too. Reminded me of Roy E. Williams everytime I saw him do that same crap the last few seasons. So frustrating! Ware is STILL a beast! Great video Shango.
Eagles fan here Shango, big fan of your videos. I'm legitimately scared as a fan of the high powered attack of Austin Bryant and Witten, but if the Cowboys can't close games then its all for naught. Doesn't matter if its Romo's decision making or Dez running the wrong route. I feel that its on Garrett to make sure these guys are on the same page because its the same story for Romo and co. seemingly every year and they need to keep the defense off the field because I'm not sold on the secondary.

I saw Jerry Jones on espn say that the game slows down for Romo late in the game now lol. Anyway, after his meltdown, I went to work very angry, horrible way to lose.
MisterJonesification 5 months ago
one thing is obvious about this defense though.. they will go to war for rob ryan.
i always thought of jenkins as a soft player.. after that game i have a different perspective on him. we'll see how it goes for the rest of the year. the depth will be tested, thats for sure.
dharrrster 5 months ago
a few of those sacks were coverage sacks, i'm much more encouraged than i was going into that game. they need to work on redzone plays more in practice...that has been a problem for years. tons of yards, not tons of points. a goal line runner would be nice as well.
on the choice play... watch it again and look at the jets alignment.. reminds me so much of 'load left' from years ago. the play should have gone the other way there was a huge hole on the right side.
dharrrster 5 months ago
@dharrrster

HOPEFULLY.
shinsonic12 5 months ago
@shinsonic12
I'm sure we'll bounce back vs San Fran...Romo will have a good game too.

The Jets are just a scappy team Shango. I think your cowboys will be alright.

question for you, you were talking about Garrett calling 3 str8 passing plays on the one yardline...do you ever feel like maybe the coaches are trying to PAD romo's stats....i kinda felt that sunday night...love the videos man!!
ROMOcowboys4life 5 months ago
@ROMOcowboys4life
I don't know about Romo's stats...but there might have been something there for Garrett to "Put up more points" on one of the elite defenses in the NFL. The thing is...you can't play with top defenses...they are there for a reason.

@seand67 yea we had T.O smh

Great video Shango! You made a GREAT point about this offense and how it may not be built to protect a lead. Look, we do have a young offensive line. But this young offensive line is built for speed, trickery, dink and donk, gadget type offense. We can't do that crap with a two possession lead in the forth, on the road, with a great defense like the Jets. We lost this game because we cannot finish the game by pounding the rock, which in turn can eat up clock and wear their asses out.
kato76109 5 months ago

Yeah...DCFanatic and I were just talking about this. I'll be on his show in like an hour...I'm sure we'll bring it up.
thedallascowboyshow 5 months ago
Yeah Shango don't forget that hes a former back up to Troy.That maybe why he's pass happy on those 3 down situations,and since Brady and Chad Henie yesterday pretty much demo'ed what make top tier teams top,everyone else that has the personnel to allow a passing scheme is gonna follow.

@thedallascowboyshow well i hope your being more realistic then alot of your fan base and expect a good game.
ozzmoises 5 months ago
Romo is the reason we we're even in this game i know he messed up but c'mon the punt block and the game was over we should be running the ball there and then getting a FG if we dont get in then were up 10 with 4 mins left i blame garret not romo, btw Sanchez made worse mistakes then romo cept last pass
Austinmp47 5 months ago
And let me get this straight....you're not blaming a player for not blocking down on the middle of the line on a punt block? You're giving credit to Ryan and saying "Garrett let us down"
Wow dude. You make a lot of good points, you really do. But then you say stuff like that that completely loses me. That's clearly on the player, just like it's on Romo for making boneheaded plays.
bballplaya72 5 months ago
@bballplaya72
Everybody gets blame but like Jimmy Johnson...the blame goes in different areas. If a rookie first year player makes a mistake you hope he learns from it...if a 30 year old veteran QB or a 4th year offensive coordinator...yeah it's a bigger deal. A much bigger deal...you HAVE to be able to see that.
thedallascowboyshow 5 months ago
@bballplaya72 exactly
youngTaharka 5 months ago
I just find myself disagreeing with you more and more lately, and it has nothing to do with the fact that you're criticizing the Cowboys, or are not being all rah rah.
I think you have very good football knowledge, but you're talking about our "pace" to give up sacks after one freaking game? Dude, you're better than that.
bballplaya72 5 months ago
@bballplaya72
SAD....
thedallascowboyshow 5 months ago
@bballplaya72 there were just too many sacks, and if you don't fix that, it will you apart.
phatmattcowboys 5 months ago
Now whats crazy this is a talented team. we all know the Jets got one, Cowboys outplayed them the whole game! last 10 mins where just a slow motion car crash other than that its a no hitter. I think this is a playoff team, but the worry is the eagles can we get past them to win the division. Or get hot at right time, like the recent super bowl teams the last few years. but nobody is talking about MARION BARBER! how much we miss him, on the 3rd & short, and 3rd goal he makes those plays!
XAYKING 5 months ago
@XAYKING barber is out because he stopped making those plays
Austinmp47 5 months ago
You blame the play calling but dont mention one part of execution. You see things so one-sided sometimes, it's not even funny.
Miles turned inside rather than outside on a PERFECTLY thrown back shoulder fade on 2nd down, and on the play that Cromartie could have picked it off, Austin slipped coming out of his break, otherwise it's a touchdown in the back of the end zone, and we're not even having this conversation.
But yeah, go ahead and bash the play calling, that's the easy excuse.
bballplaya72 5 months ago
@bballplaya72
Now I know you're nuts...most of the Cowboys nation feels we should have ran....you might be out there alone on that one buddy...you might want to look around.
Ok smart guy, You tell us how we lost then....without being negative at all. Go ahead and give it a try.
Open Stage...go right ahead and speak your mind.
thedallascowboyshow 5 months ago
@thedallascowboyshow I am very excited about the defense, I was just wondering what it will be like if T. Newman is ever healthy and Jenkins. The Jets only scored 10 points while Jenkis was in the game. Then later on Burress score against a nickle corner, then the punt block......
XAYKING 5 months ago
@thedallascowboyshow Why did we lose? We did a poor job of executing down the stretch. It's pretty obvious. If players make plays, such as turning outside on a back shoulder fade, not slipping, protecting the ball, and learning how to block down on a punt protection, we win.
How hard is that?
bballplaya72 5 months ago
@TheEndofdays311
Oh I agree...I have all kinds of patience for that stuff. But not for playcalling and Romo's mistakes when that has been the thing killing us for the past few years. These young guys could have had a major victory in their belt but Garrett and Romo were the ones holding them back.
thedallascowboyshow 5 months ago
Shango, you forgot to factor in quality of defense, not every team is the Jets...
SmittytheGreatOne83 5 months ago
@SmittytheGreatOne83 Eh...the Jets had 40 sacks last year...35 is about average...so you can come down a little but not too much....What we want to do is shut down the weaker teams to make the end number smaller than average....but mainly we want to be close to if not better than the 31 allowed last year.
thedallascowboyshow 5 months ago
The Cowboys' main problem is our rookie O-line. Smith partially got us the 3rd & 25 (Romo was the other). I understand that Romo does do some questionable things. Garret's play-calling is also a bit interesting. Garret, in my opinion, thinks too much of Romo. He's not Tom Brady. He's not Drew Brees. A thing that pissed me off (besides choking) was on the blocked punt, you look closely at the play. The #50 of the Jets is locking arms with the #89 on Dallas. Holding. Anyway, we need to get better.
NATURALSMASHA 5 months ago
FrHackett 5 months ago
fix the secondary and keep Dez healthy and the Cowboys WILL make a playoff run.
Mantronn 5 months ago
I dont know what to think of this.. but ive heard some rumors that Romo was shaving points. Just sayin
CowboysAreDaTruth 5 months ago
I dunno it's just that the this years season opener looks so much like last years. Compare and contrast. Last year end of second quarter, Garett calls screen play in the dying seconds, Deangelo Hall takes it the other way. This year, we pass three times in the endzone in the 4th quarter with the LEAD and we lose the ball. The play calling is killing me more than anything else.
It's just like you said, if we had won that game the confidence would be amazing. I just dont want another 0-2.
saiedz 5 months ago
Romo is far from our biggest problem.
jbunit2007 5 months ago
I think that the Cowboys will be fine, you guys are hitting the panic button way too hard.
PowerRangers12345 5 months ago
@PowerRangers12345 It does appear to be a going theme huh?
HTTR4LIFEBnG 5 months ago
@HTTR4LIFEBnG I mean, I understand that the Cowboys have a proud fanbase and most of their fans have memories of Aikman, Smith, Irvin, Staubach, and Jimmy Johnson winning Super Bowls in the 70's and 90's. But if my team had 5 super bowls! I would let this go and not really sweat it.
But my team does not have a single Super Bowl and if my team lost with the other team coming from behind in a regular season game against a playoff team, I am not too pissed about it.
PowerRangers12345 5 months ago
@PowerRangers12345
I don't see anyone panicking PR....
thedallascowboyshow 5 months ago
@thedallascowboyshow not you, but a lot of other Cowboys fans. Not that they don't have a right to, I just think that for a 10-6 or 11-5 team, it shouldn't happen yet.
PowerRangers12345 5 months ago
Shango, some of those were coverage sacks, and I noticed that in some situation, Romo held on to the ball a little bit too long. Not sure I would completely attribute all the sacks to the offensive line.
Given the inexperience of the line, I think they played quite well, considering that they played one of the top defenses in the league.
suaved 5 months ago
@suaved
Like I said in the video I think they played extremely well...but we have to improve or we will be in a ton of trouble. I don't think we'll give up 4 sacks per game at all but I also don't think we'll be held to 2.5 yards per carry in every game either. Not a chance on that.

No way!!! No suck for Luck campaign here. But hopefully Tony plays well and keeps his trade value up. I'm just saying...we are a very young team. Garrett + Luck + Dez would be pretty much unstoppable for 10+ years....think about it.
thedallascowboyshow 5 months ago
@thedallascowboyshow SHANGO,how many time over the last 20 years, all of us heared he will a franchise QB,and it turned out to be a bust.....redskins after winning the SB in the 90,they had 287687 QB's.see the results over that period...Romo might suck,but its our best option at this time,unless falcons, bears, chargers or pats(LOL) trade us his starter.ahahaha
