I mentioned specific examples of this memory re-writing to a "forensic psychologist" and she asked me why I thought that was occurring. It was obvious to me but, not to her. She was in total disbelief and made no mention of it in her report- which was expected, based on her unwillingness to hear much and her repeated sentence, "I already know about that."- from the alienating side.
