Is this guy serious? His strategy, to start a rally by getting on 1b, is to get hit by a pitch? I mean, it happens sometimes, but is this really something within the batter's ability to choose to do? I think it has to do with a pitcher's wildness, or lack of control, which is not something that the batter determines. If you get HBP, OK take your base, but it's not a talent that you can really develop, it's more the pitcher's mistake than the batter's skill at getting hit.
