Lots of great riffs. The only problem with this band is that all of their songs are only like two and a half minutes long. By the time you start to really get into the song, it ends.
@bornwithclothes Even Earache describes them as such:- "Municipal Waste had firmly established themselves as the leaders of a fast-growing scene of bands resurrecting the spirit of the mid-'80s crossover scene." And they do have the hardcore sound in their choruses/vocal style. Wiki also descirbes em as a crossover band. So I would say they are crossed with Thrash/Punk/Hardcore. And they sound awesome!
