I just made my first ever clay creation! It was the sculpey pack that came with 12 colors that i got a Hobby Lobbe it turned out great! Going to give the rose to my teacher for valentines day!

This was really helpful until the end. Can you please explain better how to attach the two? do you have to score them and then attach them using some substance? Or can you simply set one on top of the other like you did and bake it?

@LittleMissMotoko Clay usually sticks to itself if you press it down firmly. You can also use Translucent Liquid Sculpey or Fimo Deko Gel as a glue then bake it.

Very good technique. I heard you say at the beginning that you could use round cutter if you wanted, I like the extra texture the cutter you used added to your rose. If someone needs to buy the "cookie" cutter that you use, I would suggest looking in the cake decorating section of like Michaels. I use to decorate cakes and that is what I used. Thanks again.

@s9907774c depends on what clay you use, I use sculpey so I preheat the oven to like 230 and bake for 20 minutes, then it's fine
